Land acknowledgments weren’t enough. So they added African Ancestral acknowledgment. But that wasn’t enough either. So they made Drug Toxicity a mandatory acknowledgment too. Toronto has fallen.

Leaked photos show a third mandatory acknowledgment at the City of Toronto - this one called the “drug toxicity crisis” acknowledgment which is to be recited at meetings alongside the Land and African acknowledgments. This new acknowledgment says the drug toxicity crisis is due to “stigma and intersecting forms of racism and colonialism.” As of this writing the City has not adopted the Taxpayer Acknowledgment.

@peakay81 @jk_rowling Transwomen are men, so no, I do not want them to enjoy the safety of women only spaces. Those spaces are for women only. They can navigate male spaces, like all the other males. If they are that scared of their own, there are unisex and/or accessible spaces they can use.

Follow the logic. Women are deluded and naive for thinking predatory and violent men can be kept out of women-only spaces. ‘They can rape you anywhere.’ However, trans-identified men can only be safe in women-only spaces, because no abuser would ever follow them in there.

That doesn’t change the fact that he chose to do something he knew he could not do. It is his choice that makes the difference.

There's no one on either side of the courtroom saying this wasn't an accident. Was it preventable? Yes, because almost all accidents are.

Like I said, if the crash had been an accident, my opinion would probably be different.
