Bit of a problem. This latest statement contradicts what the accounts say. They explicitly say that the accounts were approved by the “Party Officers” - plural. And Nicola Sturgeon was one of the three Party Officers.

New statement from lawyer representing Nicola Sturgeon. Aamer Anwar says: “To make it abundantly clear it was not the role of the First Minister to sign off accounts, that was for the party treasurer. “Furthermore, there appears to be an assumption that as FM, when Mr Murrell was busy buying multiple pens or pepper pots etc she was with him, Ms Sturgeon was not, as unsurprisingly she was busy with other matters.”

When SNP supporters who’d donated to a fund for a second independence referendum campaign began asking questions about where all the money was, their then-leader Nicola Sturgeon was not happy.
Sturgeon, a politician who prefers to engage from the moral high-ground, left colleagues in no doubt that, as far as she was concerned, there was nothing further to discuss.
Even as the then-leader of the SNP was briskly insisting there was nothing to worry about, her now-estranged husband was absolutely rinsing the party’s bank accounts.
On Monday morning, Peter Murrell – chief executive of the SNP between 2001 to 2023 – pleaded guilty to embezzling £400,310.65 between 12 August 2010 and 19 October 2022.

Canadian singer Paul Anka just blew the lid off Canada’s multicultural experiment NIGHTMARE on Bill Maher’s show.
He forced Maher to acknowledge the direct link between Canada’s unchecked immigration policy and EXPLODING crime within its cities.
ANKA: “We’re not a homogenous nation here. You look at homogenous nations, Asian, wherever...different cultures. We’re not homogenous.”
“That’s a big part of what we have to deal with, but that’s the greatness of America.”
“But Canada is [was] homogenous. Only now are they feeling it.”
