Devo riconoscere che chi le ha realizzate, almeno nel caso in allegato, mi ha anche migliorata parecchio. Ma resta il fatto che, pur di attaccare e di inventare falsità, ormai si usa davvero qualsiasi cosa.
Il punto, però, va anche oltre me. I deepfake sono uno strumento pericoloso, perché possono ingannare, manipolare e colpire chiunque. Io posso difendermi. Molti altri no.
Per questo una regola dovrebbe valere sempre: verificare prima di credere, e credere prima di condividere. Perché oggi capita a me, domani può capitare a chiunque.

Carrying a fetus to bury a baby is Texas’ motto.
At 20 weeks Kylie Beaton’s fetus was diagnosed with alobar holoprosencephaly, where the two hemispheres of the brain don’t properly divide. Babies with this diagnosis are often stillborn or die soon after birth.
Since Kylie wasn’t severely ill and because the fetus had a heartbeat Texas forced her to carry the fetus to term.
Kylie and her husband tried to have an abortion out of state. However, the fetus’s head was enlarged due to its condition, and the only clinic that would perform the abortion charged up to $15,000.00.
Kylie gave birth to Grant. The baby cried constantly and wouldn’t eat. It couldn’t be held upright as that would put too much pressure on his head.
For four days Kylie watched Grant suffer, then she watched him die.
Trump is happy he delivered the blow to Roe.
Republicans don’t care one bit that Grant suffered. Cried in agony. They don’t care that Kylie and her husband will never recover from this ordeal.
Republicans care about power and control.

The CBC published an article about the online harassment of female journalists – but, rather predictably, made the story exclusively about @atRachelGilmore. It's essentially written as a puff piece promoting her career.
If they actually cared about this issue, they would've also interviewed @CarymaRules, who, unlike Gilmore, has actually been repeatedly assaulted for her work. They didn't do that, though, because it would've required them to acknowledge leftist political violence, something which the public broadcaster is hesitant to do because its "journalism" is, in practice, often just progressive activism.
