@Lemonbriz Harvey Elliott would have played a part in every game this season, and by this point would be ahead of Salah and Frimpong in selection l think

🎙️🚨 Jamie Carragher on Slot starting Frimpong ahead of Salah against PSG "Listen, when you're dropping Mohamed Salah – your star right winger – and starting Jeremie Frimpong ahead of him, that tells you everything you need to know about where Salah is at right now. This isn't a simple tactical tweak; this is Arne Slot making a bold, and frankly concerning, call by shifting his right-back into the wide attacking role over his talisman. Salah looks a shadow of the player he was last season; he's been anonymous for weeks, lacking that cutting edge, the hunger, and the quality that once made him un-droppable on the right wing. But Slot has to shoulder some blame here too – dropping your star right winger for a right-back, no matter how energetic Frimpong is, raises serious questions about the manager's judgment and man-management. Frimpong might bring energy and commitment from the right, but he's not a natural winger, and this feels like a reactive decision rather than a confident one. If Liverpool are serious about winning things this season, Slot can't keep making these kind of calls while carrying passengers like the current version of Salah. Salah needs to step up massively or step aside, and Slot needs to get his selections and his big calls sorted before things start to spiral."

🚨 | Norris responds to Verstappen's claim he would have won the title a long time ago in the McLaren. "Max is welcome to say everything he wants. He's won four titles, I have a lot of respect and I think that gives anyone a lot of credit... [1/2]

Would people vote for me? Bearing in mind I have no qualifications & I've not been to Eaton or any other College. I needed to go straight to work on a building site at 16 and earn money to live & pay my rent & bills.

It appears Revolut are struggling to receive a UK banking licence and continues to be unable to use the full Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) which protects up to £85,000. The UK regulator has concerns over global risk. The licence is being held up due to regulators' concerns over whether Revolut’s risk controls can keep pace with growth @Reuters

The tipped wage system in U.S. hotels allows a federal minimum of $2.13/hour, with tips expected to reach $7.25/hour. This keeps labor costs low for businesses and can incentivize service but leads to income instability for workers. Some states like California pay full minimum wage, reducing poverty. Critics argue the system causes inequality, especially for women and minorities, with 12.8% of tipped workers in poverty versus 6.5% of non-tipped. However, industry claims it preserves jobs and allows higher earnings through tips. Evidence is mixed—states without tipped wages see better worker outcomes, but some businesses report challenges.

Buying lower priced cars is like pulling teeth 🦷 😩 I’ve been very lucky the last decade or so and have only really dealt with higher priced vehicles for my other business, this is a bit of shock though. Found so many cool and interesting cars this week for potential stock but….. Probably the highest spec, unmolested MK2 Ford Mondeo ST you’ll ever see, admittedly the owner seems to be a pilot so is pretty busy but trying to get an answer on fairly basic things from him is painful, he’s not local to me either 🥲 D5 Volvo XC70 in a lovely spec that looks to have been incredibly well looked after, including alleged full Volvo stamped service history…….but the owner can’t tell me when the timing belt or Haldex service was last done 🤔 Peugeot RCZ GT with the 200bhp THP Mini engine in (High Pressure Fuel pump & oil starvation issues I know) and a beautiful spec that needs some very easily done things doing - guy has ignored my messages 🙃 And 2 very rare Long Wheel Base VW Phaetons at the same time that I know I shouldn’t go anywhere near but god do I want them 😆 ones the 5.0 V10 TDI!

@tiff_tv Is it not about setup though @tifftv? Surely the car components would have sufficient adjustment to make it behave how you like? Perhaps too much data sharing, split the garages and focus on your car?

Keep wondering what Yuki is thinking! "It's what I wanted but right now my RB is going well ... I might get outqualified by Hadjar at my home GP ... If only I'd had the pre-season testing ... I can't say no if I get offered it ... the test in last year's car went well ... help!"

@iamtomskinner @GreggsOfficial I presume the solution will likely be redesign of shops so that the public don't have access to goods prior to purchase. In larger supermarkets it might be a solution to have an air lock style area so that the outer doors don't open/can be closed if a shoplifter is active.

Say you loose £200-£400 per day per shop due to theft. Would employing a security guard per shop for £150 a day be a better way to limit goods being stolen? Also speaking with government to put aside the stupid under £200 theft can’t be prosecuted law that conservatives brought in a few years back be scraped. Sad to think that this is what has happened in today’s society that we need security guards on bakeries in the UK. There are plenty of food banks in the Uk to help those who are actually struggling. Also creating more jobs with security guards can only be good for the local economy. I donate more than most to food banks, I don’t think the people stealing from your shops are necessarily doing it because they are starving; they are doing it because they know how easy it is and that they will never get in trouble. We need to invest in our local communities and create more jobs to help lower the crime rate.

Stood in the que at @GreggsOfficial to buy two coffees and sausage rolls whilst out working this morning. Whilst in the que 4 separate people walked in the shop, helped themselves to sandwiches, drinks, snacks the lot! None of the staff seemed to care and I thought I ain’t gonna bother getting into an argument with someone over a ham and cheese baguette. I don’t know peoples finances, but what I did notice that every single one of them had brand new trainers on and one was even sporting a Moncler coat! What’s happened to this country and why do people feel like it’s okay to just take what they want. Sad to see; hope it is not also happening to small independent bakeries across the UK aswell. Greggs you had £12 in sales from myself but you must of had £40 worth of goods stolen in that short ten minutes. Bosh❤️
