was having a normal day yesterday before this massive glitch pattern started expanding across my visual field and blinded half of my vision. visible out of both eyes. At worst it covered more than 50% of my visual field and objects behind it disappeared as though they really weren't there, convincingly I would believe there simply wasn't an object on a table I was looking at because I couldn't see it. i enjoy that these contained cortical spreading depression effects can just randomly happen where your visual cortex decides, fuck it, I'm just going to simulate an expanding 2 dimensional square lattice cellular automata in rainbow colors instead of render what they optic nerve is delivering. never happened to me before. apparently this is known as a Migrane with Aura, which I think is way less interesting a name than it deserves given how psychedelic and weird it is. i couldn't find a single accurate image online so I photoshopped one that is much more accurate.

But, as you pointed out, he was retired by ‘88. The relative says a “Dr. Price” performed my grandmother’s 2nd surgery. Apologies for the fictitious folklore!

@etayno @actsofapostles_ @mckaycoppins @NelsonRussellM My grandmother Mildred passed in July 2008, so I cannot confirm the details. However, I’m certain it was Dr. Nelson who performed the second operation too. It must have been post retirement as it was definitely at least a few years after 1985.
