@Courtsidecom @TalkinBaseball_ So many other options for all inclusive beer. Some have mixed drinks and wine too. Love the lower cost option if I don’t want the drink alcohol but don’t want to overpay for food and soda.

@Pharmassists For some reason, glipizide is reimbursed at the highest rate on Part D and is the worst diabetes medication to give the elderly.

My most profitable prescriptions tend to be the ones that help the patient the least(beers list). The least profitable prescriptions tend to be the ones the patient needs the most. Example: Oxybutynin er vs. Mounjaro. Make $50 on one, lose $50 on the other.

@kpharmd12 We have almost none under cost once we dropped ESI commercial business. Isn’t Express Scripts supposed to offer independent pharmacies a cost plus contract with the FTC settlement? Not holding my breath that it will cover the cost.

Go to a used car dealership looking for a vehicle priced between $12,000 - $15,000. You find one in that range, but your lender will only approve you for $10,000. Will you be able to drive away from the dealership in your new vehicle? No, you will not. Same principles should apply for your Ozempic or Wegovy. Yearly supply of these drugs cost between $12,000 - $15,000 for a pharmacy to stock them. Your “lender” is the PBM. They only approved of paying the pharmacy a total of $10,000 for the year. Why should the pharmacy accept that? (Yes, I’m oversimplifying the process a bit-humor me)

@Choppodong1 @Cardinals Can I still watch Cardinals games through my satellite or cable provider? Yes. Cardinals.TV will be available on a variety of cable and satellite providers. Specific providers and channel locations will be announced closer to the start of the season.

I’m not sure how many people realize the Cardinals only have about $40m commited to their own payroll in 2027. Extending a player like Donovan, or especially guys like Winn/Herrera/JJ, makes a ton of sense to use that a portion of that open space for.

@CoveragePending @HHSGov @POTUS @Humana Even worse is the quantity limits on cheap medications. I have had insurance only cover 18 Ondansetron 8mg tablets every 21 days without a PA and only cover 1 fluconazole 150mg tablet once a month without a PA.

Last week, HHS announced new guidance clarifying how pharmaceutical manufacturers can offer lower-cost prescription drugs directly to patients. It aligns with the @POTUS’s broader effort to lower drug prices, increase transparency across the prescription drug market, and expand the availability of affordable direct-to-consumer pharmaceuticals as part of the TrumpRx program.

If the powers that be @HHSGov @HHS_Jim @CMSGov @DrOzCMS @SecKennedy @RepJamesComer @ChuckGrassley @AFergusonFTC @AAGSlater could have a sense of urgency in righting the wrongs of Insurer/PBM vertical integration before pharmacies go out of business, that would be awesome! PBM ExpressScripts owned by $CI says a box of ten enoxaparin syringes, to prevent blood clots, is worth $46. And ZERO dispensing fee! @mcuban can these be bought for $46 in the marketplace? What does the PBM bill the government for this claim they paid $0?

MAJOR 🚩 : Big decline in enrollment on healthcare dot gov, almost certainly due to the expiration of enhanced subsidies and the lack of action and/or proposed alternatives from Republicans. Healthcare is THREE on @BIGDATAPOLL Rank Distribution for Top Voting Issues in 2026.

@DonaldJTrumpJr How about actually doing something and holding PBMs accountable and not keep doing this performative acting In Congress every few months. Pharmacies keep closing and all we get is words and no action.

@theangrypharm 5) patients don’t like to pay their copays either - especially when the PBMs are taking them for $100s of dollars in deductibles in January. We lose coming and going. Result - epidemic of stores closing everywhere. Great system.

Everyone is out to fuck us. 1. Wholesalers won't give us extra time to pay them for the MFP drugs, so we're -$200/rx that has to be paid. 2. California Medicaid (MediCalRx) was closed for MLK day, hence in true California clusterfuck fashion our payment is delayed a week for 1 fucking holiday. Closed one day = delay payment for a week. I'm going to try this when I pay my State Income Tax and see how it works out for me. 3. Still havent gotten paid for MFP drugs (except Merck). 4. No secondary wholesalers that we get some price-break on have MFP drugs, only the big 3.

When the Dodgers have an $334 million AAV TV deal and the Marlins have a $50 million TV AAV deal, the sport just can’t function this way. I get there are cheap owners in this league. But TV money is consistent, guaranteed revenue. And the Dodgers deal gives them such an advantage.
