This LIRR strike was only possible because the Trump administration authorized it last fall. Before that, a strike could not happen.

Facts still matter, @POTUS.

Just for shits and giggles, President Trump should make this statement: “The Democrats seem to think expanding and packing the Supreme Court is a good idea. And I agree. Let’s do that before the midterms.” Then he should take a weekend at Mar a Lago and let them melt down.

Let’s normalize paying Congress only for the days they actually work, not a salary.

Mamdani has proposed a balanced budget for next year, with level spending while closing a $12b deficit. Trump's budget proposal increases the deficit by about $300b, with a massive deficit next year of more than $2 trillion. Fiscal responsibility? Mamdani > Trump.

New Yorkers pay 70% more for electricity than the rest of the country. When I am Governor, we will cut your utility bills in half. We will return $2.4 billion in unspent energy funds to the people who paid them. That is your money. You should have it back. No more waiting. @KathyHochul

Our public libraries are a testament to government's ability to deliver excellent free services. But for too long, they've been forced to fight for budget scraps. This year, we are changing that: I am proud to announce $31.7 million in new funding for our libraries. Expect more staff, expanded hours, robust programming, and lots of copies of the Very Hungry Caterpillar for New York's Cutest.

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

The Federal Gov't collected $5.26 Trillion in taxes last year. Congress spent every last penny of it. But it wasn't enough for them - so they borrowed another $1.75 Trillion so they could keep spending our money.

When asked about the possibility of ending up with two Republican candidates for governor and no Democrats, Gavin Newsom responded: “We all have agencies. We can shape the future… I don’t anticipate this need to be the case, but there is a ‘break the glass scenario.’ There’s many people that have a deep understanding of what it would look like if Democrats were locked out, and we’re going to do everything to make sure that doesn’t happen. I’ll leave it there.” It would be nice if he gave a hint about what lengths he intends to go to in order to ensure a Democrat wins. 🤨

Judge Lets Connected Teen Rapist Walk Free After Filmed Strangulation Rapes. This Oklahoma judge gave 17-year-old Jesse Butler — son of a former OSU football director — just probation and counseling instead of prison. He tried to rape two high school girls, filmed himself doing it, and nearly strangled one to death. Facing up to 78 years, he got “youthful offender” status. Victims ignored under Marsy’s Law. Families furious. This elite protection is disgusting.
