It's actually wild how much people will hate you for being authentic and standing on your beliefs, while also trying to be nice, uplifting, giving grace, and respecting others. But it's NOTHING new. Reading through a certain 2,000+ year old book for the first time proves it. It gives so much perspective, so much resolve, and so many ways for me to concretely be a better person. I'll keep at it. We all should. ❤️

The conduct they are claiming is detrimental is Christianity. They fired Jaden Ivey for being Christian. Worth noting the Bulls didn’t fire Ronnie Brewer after he was arrested for DUI. Or Joakim Noah after he was arrested for possession of drugs. When Jameson Curry was arrested for public urination and then resisted arrest, the Bulls suspended him for one game, but also refused to fire him for his conduct. Christianity is apparently where the Chicago Bulls draw the line.

Nearly a year ago, my wife went to the hospital for stomach pain. They did a CT Scan of her abdomen and thankfully didn't find anything serious. We got a bill in the mail of $9,117.42 I spent months talking to insurance, the hospital, billing appeals... I was told the claim was still processing. I was told the claim was out of the normal service area. I was told it wasn't clear it was medically necessary. I was told the insurance wasn't valid on the date of service. Finally, we got it handled, but it took well over 6 months from the day we got the first bill to the day we finished the process and paid. We did everything right. We have insurance. We pay our insanely high premiums every single month. It's just so frustrating. This whole healthcare system is broken, from top to bottom.

Nikki Benson is the principal of New Richmond High School in Wisconsin. She apparently allows males to use the girl’s bathroom, making girls feel unsafe. She says if a girl is uncomfortable with a boy in her bathroom, she’s the one who has to use a different bathroom and the boy can stay.
