Instead, they dug up some fringe conspiracy angle to smear the people who actually showed up as White Nationalists. I'm so angry. Let me tell you what 60 Minutes will NEVER report on I was there. Me, my wife, hundreds of volunteers delivered RVs to mothers holding babies who were sleeping in TOOL SHEDS AND TENTS in the freezing cold, in the mountains. Because their homes had been ripped off the side of a mountain and washed down the French Broad. So tell me 60 Minutes... WHERE WAS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT? Tell me, WHY did all these volunteers NEED to show up? Any thoughts on that?!!!!! Any investigation AT ALL into the federal or state government's response to Hurricane Helene? Please tell me... if the federal government was doing such a GREAT JOB, why did we need to put victims in RVs... ...A MONTH AFTER THE HURRICANE?!!!!!!! Literally every single victim you talk to in Western North Carolina has a horror story about dealing with FEMA... ...and guess who they will all say actually cam through for them? Neighbors. Church groups. The Amish. The Cajun Navy. Shawn Hendricks. Samaritan's Purse. MercuryOne. The Mission Mules hauling insulin up washed-out roads, ONLY ACCESSIBLE by mules. Greg Biffle burning his own fuel in helicopters. Veterans like Adam Smith who organized helicopter rescues with other veterans BY HIMSELF and then was demonized by the media for it. Volunteers like Jake Jarvis working TO THIS DAY, 550 days later without ANY PAY AT ALL. THOSE ARE THE STORIES FROM HURRICANE HELENE WORTH TELLING. But 60 Minutes won't tell ANY OF THEM. Because the truth makes the federal government the villain and the "deplorables" are actually the heroes in this story and they can NEVER admit that. So instead they smeared the rescuers as white nationalists. This is unforgivable. I was there. I saw it with my own eyes. And I will BE DAMNED if I let CBS rewrite the history of what happened to my mountains.

But we know the real reason. The more people they see, the more money they make.

As usual, the mainstream media attacks me for something I didn’t say in order to distract from the truth of what I did say. At yesterday’s Cabinet meeting, I said: “There are two studies that show children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it’s highly likely because they’re given Tylenol.” An August 2025 Preprints.org review by Patel et al. directly validates my point that the observed autism correlation in circumcised boys is best explained by acetaminophen exposure, not circumcision itself. Newsweek reflected my comments most accurately. USA Today partially reported what I said but used misleading framing. New York Post distorted it completely with its headline, implying I said circumcision causes autism. So once again, MSM chooses to character assassinate me instead of educating Americans by digging into the science. The paper I was referring to identifies the 2015 Danish circumcision study as “the most compelling ‘standalone’ evidence that acetaminophen triggers autism in susceptible babies and children.” It presents a mechanistic model showing that acetaminophen acts in combination with oxidative stress to cause neurodevelopmental injury. The study’s authors call the evidence “overwhelming” and argue the precautionary principle demands avoiding acetaminophen during pregnancy and early infancy, precisely echoing my public warning. In short, the preprint provides a rigorous scientific framework that substantiates my interpretation: the risk stems from acetaminophen use in infants, not from circumcision itself. At the same time, I wonder why it’s so hard to hold both ideas in our heads at once—that vaccines have done immense good and that it’s not unreasonable to scrutinize aspects of how they’re administered today. For example, why can’t we have a real conversation about the necessity of a Hepatitis B shot at birth for a healthy newborn? Or about whether the CDC schedule, which has grown more aggressive over the years, might deserve re-evaluation? Or about the safety of adjuvants like aluminum when injected into infants with developing immune systems? It also seems fair to point out that most pre-licensing trials don’t use truly inert placebo controls, and very few track long-term safety outcomes. That’s not conspiracy—it’s just acknowledging a limitation in the data. So the question I keep coming back to is: if we can recognize the undeniable success of vaccines historically, why is it treated as dangerous or taboo to raise legitimate questions about how we use them today? This story from Politico is journalistic malpractice. But it's more than that: it's a foreign influence operation meant to hurt the administration and one of our most effective members. Notice how all of the people attacking Steve are on background? That means it's two or three deep staters who are angry that Witkoff has succeeded where they've failed. You know what this "reporter" left out to make room for anonymous quotes? The full quote from the sitting vice president, on the record. A quote from the secretary of the state, on the record. A quote from Jared Kushner, on the record. The full quote from the UK's Jonathan Powell, one of the most respected national security people in the Western World, who defended Steve vigorously from these malicious smears. The person who wrote this garbage is @felschwartz. Aside from the failure to include on the record information directly contradicting her reporting, I wonder if she ever asked herself why these anonymous sources came to her at this moment with this particular story. They have an agenda to blow up the president's efforts to make peace, and they saw her as a useful vessel to launder garbage into the conversation, truth be damned. There are two possible explanations: Felicia is just not very smart, and allowed herself to be used by deep state con men. Or she's in on it, and used her position to willingly participate in a literal foreign influence operation. Either way, it's disgraceful. To set the record straight: Steve Witkoff is an invaluable member of our team. He did not mislead anyone on what the Russians told him and what the Russians conceded. (Trust me, I've seen the intel.) The fruits of his negotiations are that we have narrowed the list of open issues in the Russia-Ukraine war to a set of clearly defined issues--specifically, security guarantees and territorial concessions. Maybe we make peace, and maybe we don't. If we do, it will be because Steve Witkoff and the President of the United States worked their tails off, in the face of outright lies from the mainstream press.
