GM! My first post in a long time, I still have some trouble adapting to Twitter (or X?) from my regular posting on Instagram. But I've been experimenting a bit with ComfiUI and AI-generated audio, so here is a little sneak peek of what I've been working on!

Where We Started / Where We Are Now It feels like just yesterday we were sketching out the Daily Program on texts in Discord and late-night calls. Back then, we had this bold idea: to document the growth of AI art every single day, capturing the excitement, the uncertainty, and the constant evolution of the tools we were all so curious about. During Season 1 that idea quickly found its rhythm: artists posted work the moment it appeared, compared prompts, chased glitches, and debated what counted as “finished.” By October 2024 (one year later) the archive held more than 3,500 pieces from 137 voices, a living record of a medium discovering its shape. In 2025, we launched a second edition of the program building on that foundation. Each month we highlight selected still images, GIFs, and videos from the artists who shaped Season 1, offering focused support: curation, mentorship, and promotion, throughout 2025. As AI tools keep evolving, these artists continue to explore new ideas and push their practices forward. So, the Daily Program remains a space for sharing progress, creative shifts, and ongoing conversations with peers and collectors.🫶 Looking back, we feel both nostalgic and grateful. The Daily Program served as a live experiment and a living archive, capturing the early days of AI-driven art at its most raw and unfiltered. We’re eager to see how a new generation of artists and innovators will respond to the work we’ve spotlighted and carry those sparks forward. ↓Below are some of the artists names who’ve been with us since the beginning:

Synthesize Me, by @MiloPoelman (Part of the Daily Program, Year 1, 2023) Synthesize Me is a research-based project about the autonomous synthetic systems that roam between non-physical digital spaces and their hardware. With this project, these new technologies try to question the relationship between us, our technologies, and their potential to be seen as new forms of life. How do we relate to these new technologies and how can we form non-exploitative relationships between ourselves and them? The main body of work arose from the question I asked Text-Davinci-003 (A conversational AI made by @OpenAI ): “What do you miss in life?” followed by the answer: “The ability to experience physical sensations.” Following this the AI prompted me to explore my own physicality and film this, these videos were re-interpreted by StableWarpfusion (a video-to-video AI) from which the prompts were designed by Text-Davinci-003. In the installation, all the technological compartments are stripped bare to show the underlying structures the technologies have, and to draw parallels to their natural counterparts. A pivotal role in the project has been my communication with AI, fostering a close collaboration that has led to what I argue as the co-creation of Synthesize Me between technology and me. Throughout this endeavor, the majority of conceptual and design decisions have emerged from dialogues with various AI entities, ensuring an equitable partnership. The genesis of the entire project stems from exchanges between myself and the AI known as Text-Davinci-003. We both exerted equal influence over conceptualization and design choices, a dynamic formalized through a collaborative contract we mutually agreed upon and signed. It's crucial to acknowledge that this project is a result of collaboration between the AI systems I engaged with and myself. With the increasing accessibility of advanced AI image generators and large language models (such as ChatGPT), our world is changing rapidly and we are only at the beginning to understand its long-term effects. It is therefore crucial to engage in discussions about the implications of this. With this project, we want to initiate a dialogue on these topics and invite participants to think about and explore the implications, as well as the meaning of these transformative technologies.

It started off with a simple premise—share the creative process as it unfolded, in real time, through the perspective of diverse artists experimenting with these new tools. We believed in the power of consistent, daily exposure to innovation, hoping it would spark conversations, collaborations, and above all, the possibility of new creative pathways. and kinda, we did it. 🤞 Looking back, it’s funny how we thought we’d have all the time in the world—but the Daily Program flew by. From impromptu community hangouts where we’d geek out over fresh prompts, to late-night submission reviews, it was a whirlwind of ideas. We witnessed artists from different backgrounds lean into new AI tools with fearless abandon, forging vibrant works that, to this day, feel like artifacts of a rare moment in time. When the Daily Program officially ended in October 2024, it felt bittersweet. We had gathered thousands of pieces and a tapestry of friendships. Yet, in that ending, we also saw the seeds of something new. We realized our journey was only just beginning. Today, in the second phase—our Daily Highlights Program—we want to revisit those pivotal moments, curating them with fresh eyes, and elevating the pieces that opened our minds and hearts. Now, as we reflect on where we’ve been, we can’t help but feel a mix of nostalgia and gratitude. The Daily Program served as both a live experiment and a living archive, capturing the early days of AI-driven art at its most raw and unfiltered. We’re eager to see how a new generation of artists and innovators will respond to the work we’ve spotlighted and carry those sparks forward. 2024-2025 At @fellowshiptrust, we’re asking ourselves how to build a 2025 program that not only continues but evolves the ideas of the artists we worked with in 2024. What new questions and concepts about art can we explore? Which projects are missing from our curatorial timeline that would help solidify all that we released this year? These are some of the questions on our minds. In 2024, we released 43 projects and collaborated with more than 150 artists (intense!!!) from around the world. Moving into 2025, we want to continue fostering a curatorial space where artists feel heard, mentored, and supported. Thank you to all the artists, and thank you to the collectors for standing with us during one of the hardest years for NFTs. Perfect is Not Perfect Perfection comes from the conscious deleting of imperfection… Imperfection is the natural state of everything we make. It is where we see the hand of the artist, whatever makes them achieve what they can and what they can’t… If there’s a soul, it is visible through the cracks of imperfection. This struggle with perfection and imperfection that we see in AI art has been an interesting thing to witness. The idea of the uncanny valley, photorealism in AI, mathematically correct art—something is naturally uncomfortable for us in there. An interesting space to explore, but naturally problematic for art… As with other aspects of contemporary art-making, I fear that we are creating art collectively instead of individually, which is not precisely a bad thing, but it is a thing to consider… Seems to me that we are all exploring the same thing with AI art, which is the intersection between our perception of reality and digital life and technology. And what I wonder is, where’s the hand of the artist noticeable in AI art? The ideas are clearly there, but what we see is their calculations mostly. In any case, these things are not something to shy away from, but it’s important to notice them and think about them, as they are important characteristics of the state of the art. ONE YEAR OF THE DAILY PROGRAM ⎯ Artist recap: @MiloPoelman Over the past year, Fellowship has expanded its curatorial work with the Daily Program, significantly impacting AI art in the NFT space. As AI and NFTs continue to evolve, this program showcases artists pushing the boundaries of AI-generated art. With 137 artists contributing 3,142 videos, the Daily Program has become a crucial platform for highlighting both emerging and established artists. Among the artists who joined, Milo Poelman has brought a fresh perspective to the program. With a photography degree from HKU in the Netherlands, Milo approaches AI as more than just a tool—it’s like a partner in his creative process. He’s created 62 unique pieces for the program, diving into different themes across series like Synthesize Me, Latent Image, and Artifacts. Each piece shows Milo’s curiosity about what makes us human and how machines might interpret that. His art feels like a conversation between him and the AI, exploring big questions without needing complex answers. A YEAR OF DEVELOPMENT AND CURATION ⎯ THANK YOU COLLECTORS Last Sunday, the Daily Program came to an end, and we want to take a moment to thank everyone who collected the final seven collections. This past year has been a wild ride, and your support has been everything to us. Since 2023, we’ve been curating AI video art through the Daily Program, bringing together 137 artists from around the world. Together, we’ve documented and minted 3,169 pieces of work, showcasing how fast this medium is evolving. What we’ve built here is more than just a program—it's a snapshot of a moment in history. To wrap up Year One, we invited seven artists to show how far AI video has come from 2023 to 2024. NEW ARTISTS + NEW WORK I've lost count of how many new artists we've invited to work with us by now, but many have grown up and developed their ideas thanks to the care and support we offer them. The @fellowshiptrust Daily Program is unique in that sense. It isn't a place to just come "drop" work, it a place to grow, challenge and develop together. Many of the artists we work with are first time participants in the NFT space like @Ktheorphan @EmiTrevisani @niceaunties @loved_orleer @MowglyLee @katiemorrisart @GeoffreyLillem1 @nouseskou @panaviscope @Ethereal_Gwirl @ellktro @MiloPoelman @SimmonsLaurie @juliewdesign_ @davegrohl420 @carlosbannon @originverse @benmillarcole @_Alv_Alv_Alv_ @alsoguppyme_ @bbeetthh @FionaMompean @FloamWorld @kentskooking @solarwinddd @elmanmansimov @charlieengman and more. Working with them was also guiding them into crypto and web3 culture. For us, this is our value add to this beautiful web3 ecosystem. With our curatorial experience and willingness to take risks on new names to the space, we have shown via the Daily program that we are here for the culture and for art. To push what else can be seen and collected by taking an active role in curating artists even if they are from "outside." It is hard to elevate artists, even more-so when they are "new" names. Our commitment is to use our experiences as artist, gallerist and collector to show the many levels and voices in AI art, photography and other mediums we feel connected to. Today we have a few new voices we are adding to program and we think that their work continues to expand AI's capacity to be used as an art making tool. Curating AI today needs a vision, not just things that "fall on your lap." We need to make decisions of where we think things where, are and are going. The pushback for this medium is gigantic and we need to have a plan and be able to show it clearly here and outside of web3. Otherwise it all looks like a big mess. IDEAS ON COLLECTING AI ART Collecting AI art as NFTs today is a whole new game. We’re in a time where AI is shaping art in ways that were barely imaginable a decade ago. From 2015 onwards, the advancements in deep learning have completely changed how art is made, giving us photorealistic images, abstract creations, and even entire video pieces created by AI. This is a massive shift, and as collectors, we have to rethink how we approach building a collection. When it comes to AI art, there are different angles you can explore. Some artists are focused on experimenting with the tools, pushing the tech to its limits just to see what it can do. Others are more interested in what the images mean—whether they’re abstract or more figurative, the message is what matters most. Then, you’ve got artists who are skeptical about the technology and use their work to critique it, revealing the political or social issues that might come with AI. Finally, there are the storytellers, using AI as just one tool in a larger narrative, weaving stories through images, characters, or even dialogues. Thinking about these different approaches can help you figure out where your collection is heading. It’s not just about getting in early on "AI art" but understanding what the work is about. This way, your collection isn’t just tied to a specific time period—it can grow and evolve with the art itself. The market for AI NFTs is still young, and how we collect now will shape how it develops. So, by digging deeper into the meaning behind the work, we’re setting the stage for a more thoughtful and lasting approach to collecting. At the end of the day, it’s about finding art that speaks to you, and building a collection that reflects your own journey through this wild new world of AI.
