NEW: Liberal media is melting down because Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth hosted a voluntary prayer service at the Pentagon and invoked the name of Jesus Christ.
The Washington Post called it "dangerous" and "proselytizing" that breaks longtime norms. MSNBC labeled it "cult-like Christian nationalist rhetoric."
Hegseth's prayer asked for wisdom in decisions, endurance for trials, unbreakable unity, and overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy, all "in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ."
Pentagon press secretary confirmed: the services are 100% voluntary, not mandated. The left freaks out when faith returns to the military.
Hegseth is simply leading with strength and conviction.
