@2020_ph @Wallaby @RedWavePress You talk about ROI, but obviously you don’t even realize that NATO is a pretext for US to sell weapons to allies. Just leave and lose your clients who finance your war industry.

Fox News: “So far, Germany, Italy, and Japan have said they will not send ships to” the Middle East to help keep the Strait of Hormuz open.” Lawrence B. Jones: “Well, they fell for the trap because, as the president said during the press conference yesterday, it’s almost a test. He goes, do we really need them? No, but he goes, I kind of want to see what they’re going to say to us. Are they going to be there—and they’re kind of proving his theory.” Cut off all funding to these countries!

You completely failed Gandalf to understand the reason for the exercise (Requests). The requests for assistance from 10 individual nations were merely a TEST OF LOYALTY. America doesn’t need a coalition of nations to control the Strait of Hormuz. The requests were to TEST if America’s so-called allies would have our backs in this conflict. As President Trump predicted 10 years ago, 10 NATO nations would not only not help but they would try to undercut President Trump’s policies. A formerly untested prediction has been proven to be the truth. All 10 nations failed!! (10 - 0). This is a big step toward the eventual realization, by America, about the need for disbanding from the so called NATO alliance. NATO has always been just a one sided political exercise to control American foreign policies thru compromises for the good of all (but America). Now you are celebrating and enjoying the aftermath of your 10 nations failing a test of loyalty. Actually happy/ gleeful to fail the test. Now, accept the consequences of your nations results. No complaining when the “Fruits of your decisions “ turn rotten before your eyes. 10 nations just discovered pyrite and are celebrating. We call it fool’s gold in America.

10 Countries. 0 Warships. Trump went hat in hand to the world. The world checked its phone and put it back in its pocket. France said no. Officially. In writing. Germany said nothing, which is German for no. Norway said no. The UK is “discussing options with allies,” which is British for no. Japan stayed silent while 70% of its Middle East oil supply sits behind a minefield. South Korea watched Washington and Tehran play chicken with its own energy supply and declined to pick a side. China called it a sovereign right and hung up. Qatar didn’t just refuse. Qatar stopped production entirely and declared force majeure. Their energy minister did not mince words: this will bring down economies of the world. Iran is still there. Still attacking ships. Still laying mines. Still holding the strait. The most powerful military on Earth sent out the call. Ten countries heard it. The result is a number that requires no commentary: zero. This is what the end of American power looks like in practice. A request for warships that came back empty. Washington spent decades telling the world that the US-led order was worth defending. The world has moved away from the US. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

@akeyl_Elwynn @GuillaumeK @Watchman_motto Stinky doesn’t mean bad, far from it. I'm eat an epoisse, the touch contaminates your fingers, but what a treat. In Italian cheese, you can also find good competitors. Gorgonzola (with spoon please) is strong on the nose and a delight in the mouth

I remember reading ‘Down and Out in Paris and London’ by George Orwell. And there’s a time when working in Paris he and his roommate were so broke that they essentially lived on red wine and bread. The pro tip was, if you took a piece of raw garlic and rubbed it all over the bread, it made you feel full longer because you could taste the garlic on your breath. Have never forgotten this for some reason. Maybe I think the diet would fit well with me. I could live on bread, prosciutto, hard cheese, and red wine.

@GuillaumeK @akeyl_Elwynn @Watchman_motto I will not dispute the fact that the British have very good cheeses, but to say that they are much better than the French ones is a bit exaggerated. And it’s not a French person who says it.

@akeyl_Elwynn @MinisLabs @Watchman_motto It is true they have a few good cheeses in England, but variety is not present. Same for Italy. As for wines, to get good Australian wines, it’s expensive wines.

Europe is quietly becoming what the United States once promised the world. More and more people are looking at their best years ahead and choosing a place where everyday life is designed to work. Where the future feels stable enough to plan for. Where safety is not a luxury product. Where you can build a good life without gambling your health, your family, or your dignity on one bad month. In much of Europe, the “dream” is not about becoming a billionaire. It is about becoming unafraid. It is the freedom of walking home at night without scanning every shadow. The comfort of knowing that if you get sick, you do not need to calculate whether you can afford to be treated. The relief of having a society that still believes children should carry backpacks, not trauma, and definitely not weapons. The calm of streets built for human beings, not just cars. The ability to take a holiday without feeling like you are committing career suicide. The basic decency of labor protections that assume you are a person first and a resource second. And then there is the part people underestimate until they live it: the texture of life. The cities are older and more beautiful than you expect. The distances are smaller. Weekends are real. Food is real. Public spaces are not just decorative, they are functional. Parks are full. Cafes are full. Trains take you somewhere, often across borders, without turning travel into a stress test. You can live in one country, work with another, and visit a third like it is normal because, in many places, it is. The European dream is also a quiet confidence in the social contract. That if you contribute, the system does not abandon you. That you can raise a family without feeling like you are one accident away from ruin. That “getting ahead” does not require burning out. That a good society is one where normal people can live normal lives and still feel proud of them. This is why more and more Americans are not just visiting Europe, but staying. Some come for studies and never leave. Some arrive for a job and realise the lifestyle is the real promotion. Some originally planned a one year experiment and then cannot imagine going back to a place where stress is treated as a personality trait and insecurity is marketed as freedom. Europe is not perfect. It has bureaucracy. It has politics. It has problems that deserve criticism. But in many European countries, life is still built around a simple idea: society should reduce fear, not monetise it. That is the new dream. And people can feel it the moment they arrive. If you could choose one thing to trade for a better life, what would it be: more income, or more security? And what do you think your country would have to change for people to stop leaving, and start staying? Stay connected, Follow Gandalv @Microinteracti1

Welp, that should provide cause to end the $300 million we give to Spain annually for some reason I can't explain. And the move gives Trump a good reason to raise tariffs on them. You're either our partner or you aren't. And the Socialists who have seized control of the country are apparently insistent on learning lessons that only learned the hard way.
