This isn’t ripping people off. First off, lots of people were making similar predictions. He never hid his point of view. He wrote books, hosted programs on tv and YouTube. He was very up front about his content. People could choose to consume it or not. People received exactly what they were paying for. IMO he truly believed what he was preaching. “Ripping people off” would be someone paying for a book and it never arriving in the mail.
