@cedonull1 @hecubian_devil It's pretty wild to accuse an elementary-aged child (that is what the discussion is about) of lacking "any sense of tact." Like yeah, obviously. Insane to expect otherwise, actually.

@hecubian_devil It comes down to conduct and personality.. If youre really bored/too advanced for a class, whats the point in spending energy clashing with teachers when you could just chill or do something else to pass time? Many self proclaimed "smart" people just lack any sense of tact

@delysscious7 @gbodyprincess @birdwatchbud Wait, what would you have them do besides try a different prescription? Punch you in the head until you're unconscious? Or do you just want them to work for free? I don't understand your complaint here.

@gbodyprincess @birdwatchbud I don’t take that much Benadryl, if 2 doesn’t help more won’t. Many times I don’t sleep for days on end. Body stops being able to regulate temp. Hallucinations. Foggy mind. Doctor is just like here’s some fuckass 10th rate off label drug that won’t help you, now pay me :)

@birdwatchbud I’ll be honest here, I stopped using fentanyl after a 10 yr habit and now have a Benadryl addiction. I’ll take 600mg every other night at this point, I love the feeling but this is not what was supposed to happen. I fucked up.

@MJPiazza2 Terrible and irrelevant analogy relating two impossibly different ideas. Check out any adoptions statistics. Nearly half of youth that age out of foster care end up incarcerated and nearly 1/5 of our prison population comes from foster care.

@HansFiene Depends on the vehicle. If you have really poor visibility you can get a look at the space before you back in and all the obstacles are static. If you are backing out you never know when someone will whip past you and be impossible to see, or some kid will run out.

@Angry_Staffer Given that the first happened in 2018 and several reporters have come out saying they knew about them it seems like the Democrats actually circle the wagons until the moment somebody becomes politically inconvenient and then they find themselves in the wilderness in milliseconds

My thoughts on the Swalwell stuff. Notice how Democrats always hold their own accountable and Republicans just yell fake news, no matter how vile the evidence is?

Are the instructions on the Benadryl container to not take more than one in 24 hours trustworthy or is it another case of big doctor nerfing OTC doses so that people have to go to them for treatments that actually work

@Romy_Holland My parents gave unconditional love and never played favorites. As a result I developed healthy, constructive competition with my siblings and am close with them as an adult

sibling rivalry seems inevitable and a small amount is probably a positive, but it was such a damaging part of my family's culture that I really want to find a way to minimize it among my kids. I think two of my siblings internalized a sense of competition so deeply that they're now actively rooting for the rest of us to fail so that they'll feel better about themselves. the idea my kids would end up like this horrifies me, but I'm not sure the best way to avoid it. one idea is to reward the entire family when anyone succeeds, but I wonder if this would backfire somehow. maybe I'm overthinking it and in the absence of explicitly bad messaging the natural dynamic would be fine?

@julia_doubleday 1. That isn't the first line medication treatment for migraines. 2. When they see you have uncontrolled hypertension, and refuse to give you a triptan that might induce a stroke, how do you react?

You can’t go in being like “I’m having migraines and I’ve seen that the first line medication intervention for migraines is triptans so I’d like to try that”, many drs won’t LIKE THAT. You have to go “oh nooo my heeeaddd hurtttsss what do i dooo”

Drs have such weird control issues that you literally have to go into every apptmnt acting like you’ve never heard of the concept of medication. I’m not just talking opioids or benzos. I mean even if you want migraine meds for a migraine you have to let them come up w the idea
Immuno(un)compromising Writer@jacobscheier

To the drs saying they don't act out of a desire to control: just because you are not in touch with your own unconscious will to power or have not examined your own ideology, doesn't make what I wrote untrue.

@st_louis_stan Also bizarre that the man working a full time job is considered "pursuing his career" as some kind of treat rather than daily labor in service to that same household

Where did lib women get this idea that taking care of kids and a home is "servitude" or "free labor." You know that's your house, right? Those are *your* kids. When you take care of a home, your reward is a nice home that YOU get to live in! It's not random labor for someone else's house! And when you take care of your kids, YOU get the benefit of spending time with YOUR kids and raising them how YOU want to. The injection of college-kid marxoid theory has done incredible damage to how women perceive marriage
🖤 Sophia 🖤@Richard_Vixen

Have you considered that most women don’t want the cost of subsidizing men’s career & lifestyle to be privately borne out by their servitude 🧐

@unintrstngcritt @NJBanbury This is a conversation doctors have once a week and when someone comes in with a diagnosis instead of a symptom they are almost always anchored to and emotionally invested in that diagnosis. Any analysis frequently turns into a negative review about how they "didn't listen."

@mkissocoollike @albiz94 @unintrstngcritt @_vimzzzz If people feel ignored/dismissed that is valid, they’re allowed to say it. You trying to silence them proves their point, not yours. Also, there’s lots of research to substantiate how dr bias & attitude kills people. Either you’re a gd dr who fights that, or you aren’t.

@mariposaszn @ayahnaaragon And don’t even get me started on how invasive and traumatic the routine procedures are for women’s reproductive health. There is no reason why in 2026 with all the tech we have that this is still the “best” procedure we have to determine female pelvic health on a routine basis.

@ApoStructura It also needs to take into account the frequency with which you have contact with human blood or feces. Yes, I am aware my vehicle doesn't have other people in it. I don't see that as a downside.
