Sanju Verma, whose only claim to fame is high decibel illogical rants on the electronic media, must be out of her mind to dub @yashoazad,an officer well known for the highest degree of integrity & accomplishments, a blot on the uniform. The direction by the Court is most welcome
Bar and Bench@barandbench

"You cannot say he was a blot on the uniform... You should remove it." Delhi High Court tells BJP leader Sanju Verma to consider removing her Twitter posts calling ex-IPS officer Yashovardhan Jha Azad a "blot on the uniform". @yashoazad @Sanju_Verma_

The revised PLI norms for textiles mark a new era of inclusivity and growth for India’s apparel sector. With lower entry barriers, expanded MSME participation, and a focus on MMF and cotton balance, the updated scheme will strengthen India’s global textile competitiveness. #PLIforTextiles #AEPC #MakeInIndia #TextileIndustry #ApparelExport #MMF #MSMEs #IndianTextiles #InvestmentInTextiles #AtmanirbharBharat @girirajsinghbjp @FieoHq @CMAI_Official @HEPC_India @epchindia @TPCI_ @TexMinIndia @PiyushGoyal @DoC_GoI @MithileshwarT @sudhirsekhri @AMHSSCIndia @JitinPrasada

India’s EFTA trade pact takes effect today with Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, unlocking $100 billion in FDI and one million jobs over the next 15 years. This landmark agreement will boost Indian exports particularly textiles, while expanding processed foods and pharma and making premium goods more affordable. By opening new markets while safeguarding key sectors, India sets the stage for sustainable growth, stronger global competitiveness and wider opportunities for all.

#WATCH | Gurugram, Haryana | Secretary General, AEPC, Ministry of Textiles, Mithileshwar Thakur says, "The series of GST reforms are bold, brave and pathbreaking... This is a welcome move and will boost demand, drive consumption, and kickstart the economy by eliminating some slab rates and addressing long-standing GST issues... The textile sector benefits from reduced rates on items like swing threads, yarns... The inversion issue in the MMF value chain has been resolved, which was long overdue... Overall, it will improve the ease of doing business and living for the common man..."

My take on the GST reforms/ rationalisation/ simplification announced yesterday
DD News@DDNewslive

#WATCH | Today's decision in the GST Council meeting is an important step towards GST reforms, which is both bold and brave. The earlier four slabs of GST—5%, 12%, 18%, and 28%—have now been reduced to only two slabs of 5% and 18%. In fact, 175 important consumer items have witnessed a decline in GST rates from 18% to 5%. Overall, this rationalization of the GST structure will drive consumer demand, boost consumption, simplify rates, and even address the issue of GST inversion in certain cases through the elimination of slabs: Mithileshwar Thakur, Secretary General, AEPC, @TexMinIndia @FinMinIndia @GST_Council @MIB_India #GSTCouncilMeeting #GSTCouncilMeet #NextGenGST

India's GDP grew at a robust 7.8% for the first quarter of the current financial year 2025-26, beating estimates by over a full per cent. RBI had estimated that the GDP grew at 6.5% in Q1 FY26, and most economists had projected a 6.7% number. @yashoazad In our motherland rulebook is for the non- influential, deprived & downtrodden. Big business tycoons & Babas fall under the exempted category. Judiciary has become a joke and corruption has eaten into the vitals of our society.

How helpless we are that we only Wonder what fascination convicted rapist Dera Rahim and Haryana Govt have for each other. Once again he is on parole for 40 days to enjoy the 5 star comforts of his ashram. No one can do anything - the courts, civil society, officers. The moment you question rule book will be thrown at you. So if rules allow a murderer and rapist rest and recreation at people’s expense, there is no recourse. Just think of the victims And yet our voters vote for representatives bowing before the Dera. God help our democracy
