"You cannot say he was a blot on the uniform... You should remove it." Delhi High Court tells BJP leader Sanju Verma to consider removing her Twitter posts calling ex-IPS officer Yashovardhan Jha Azad a "blot on the uniform". @yashoazad @Sanju_Verma_

From expanding opportunities to smoother implementation, the PLI Scheme is now more dynamic than ever. With new reforms, the Ministry of Textiles has made it more flexible, industry-friendly and geared towards ease of doing business, which will help in driving growth in MMF & Technical Textiles to the next level.

#WATCH | Gurugram, Haryana | Secretary General, AEPC, Ministry of Textiles, Mithileshwar Thakur says, "The series of GST reforms are bold, brave and pathbreaking... This is a welcome move and will boost demand, drive consumption, and kickstart the economy by eliminating some slab rates and addressing long-standing GST issues... The textile sector benefits from reduced rates on items like swing threads, yarns... The inversion issue in the MMF value chain has been resolved, which was long overdue... Overall, it will improve the ease of doing business and living for the common man..."

#WATCH | Today's decision in the GST Council meeting is an important step towards GST reforms, which is both bold and brave. The earlier four slabs of GST—5%, 12%, 18%, and 28%—have now been reduced to only two slabs of 5% and 18%. In fact, 175 important consumer items have witnessed a decline in GST rates from 18% to 5%. Overall, this rationalization of the GST structure will drive consumer demand, boost consumption, simplify rates, and even address the issue of GST inversion in certain cases through the elimination of slabs: Mithileshwar Thakur, Secretary General, AEPC, @TexMinIndia @FinMinIndia @GST_Council @MIB_India #GSTCouncilMeeting #GSTCouncilMeet #NextGenGST
