The leg report card with @NevadaPolicyRI gave @SettelmeyerNV an 88% in 2021. 2019 he was awarded as 'Taxpayer Friendly': Calling LCB opinion allowing Democrats to increase tax rates (he opposed in '15) without a supermajority, "a work of legal fiction." Then sued them and won.

During my time in the Nevada legislature James Settlemeyer went behind the backs of his constituents to by supporting and lobbying other legislators to support the largest tax increase in Nevada history, the commerce tax, voters rejected it as a ballot measure but James Settlemeyer did not care, he threatened legislators in private meetings if they did not go along with him, I was in those meetings, this is 100% FACT. James Settlemeyer is a RINO and cannot be trusted.

James Settelmeyer’s @SettelmeyerNV record also includes increased taxpayer funding for abortion providers like Planned Parenthood with SB 94 in 2019. He voted twice for the Nevada Equal Rights Amendment with SJR 8 in 2019 and 2021, a measure that allows biological men in girls’ sports, guarantees abortion rights, and protects “gay and trans rights.” Remember, President Trump said opposing men in women’s sports is common sense. If Settelmeyer can’t embrace common sense policies that are important to MAGA, why is he running in an important Congressional seat to begin with? President Trump must call on Settelmeyer to drop out of the race in Nevada’s 2nd Congressional district immediately so that an actual MAGA Republican with sound policy can appear on the ballot in November.
