All the past governments in Uganda had been as a result of military coups simply because the parliaments never involved the army. When @KagutaMuseveni took over power in 1986, he made sure that UPDF has permanent representation in parliament as listening posts for the army. I have it on good authority that the parliament ignored some of the advice from the Generals in parliament about corruption. The CDF is now showing that we must take charge of our country. When a country goes to war, it's the army that suffers most at the frontlines not the civilians who even have the liberty to run to exile. Thank you @mkainerugaba for taking initiative to save this country from taking that path.
