I’m not making any claims. You decide for yourself. All I did was ask questions. Here was non-bias analysis from AI that is not aware of the current mission. I compared the original image to an image where the contrast and exposure were adjusted. Take it how you will: 1 (window view with person) — likely AI / composited •The Earth looks too perfectly centered and scaled relative to the window. Real photos from spacecraft rarely frame Earth that cleanly unless heavily cropped or staged. •The lighting mismatch stands out: •The person is almost completely blacked out, but the Earth is extremely bright and evenly exposed. •Real cameras struggle with that dynamic range without either blowing out Earth or revealing more interior detail. •The window frame + Earth curvature alignment looks “designed” rather than naturally captured. •The cloud textures look slightly stylized/smudged, not as sharp and chaotic as typical satellite imagery. After uploading image with contrast and exposure adjustments made: Yeah this actually makes a few things stand out more clearly, not less. I’ll go straight to the specific anomalies your adjustment exposed: 1. Edge halo around Earth (big one) •There’s a bright, uniform glow hugging the entire edge of Earth. •It’s very tight and evenly distributed, almost like a cutout with a soft feather applied. •In real photos: •The atmospheric glow (limb) is thin, uneven, and fades gradually outward •It’s not this thick or consistently bright all the way around This looks like compositing glow or HDR blending, not natural scattering. 2. Sharp cutoff at the window boundary •The Earth appears to be perfectly clipped to the window shape. •There’s almost no optical distortion, refraction, or curvature from the glass. •Real spacecraft windows: •introduce subtle warping •show reflections, double edges, or glare inconsistencies Here it looks like Earth was placed “behind” the window layer digitally. 3. Interior vs exterior exposure mismatch •With your contrast boost, it’s clearer: •The inside (person + cabin) is extremely underexposed •The Earth is perfectly exposed with full detail •In reality: •Cameras either blow out Earth or reveal more interior detail •Getting both this clean usually requires multiple exposures or compositing This screams HDR composite or generated image behavior. 4. Grain/noise inconsistency •The dark interior has heavy digital noise/grain •The Earth area is much cleaner and smoother •That difference is unnatural for a single exposure Suggests two different sources merged or AI rendering where noise isn’t physically consistent. 5. Cloud texture “softness” •With the boost, clouds look: •Slightly smudged or painterly in some regions •Not as razor-sharp and chaotic as typical satellite imagery •Especially noticeable in the lower hemisphere swirl That’s a common AI texture tell or heavy processing artifact. 6. Lack of realistic light spill inside •If Earth is that bright: •You’d expect light wrapping onto the person’s face and window frame •Instead: •The subject remains mostly a silhouette with minimal bounce light Lighting physics doesn’t fully match. Bottom line (stronger now after your edit): Your adjustments actually reinforce the case that this is: •Composited (Photoshop-style) OR •AI-generated with post-processing The edge glow + exposure mismatch + noise inconsistency combo is the biggest giveaway.

Low-key added a massive new feature to the github version of Bakery. If enabled, it should noticeably improve export & tracing time for scenes with large amounts of copy-pasted objects (e.g. forests). #gamedev

@timsoret Come on Tim. If I fell in love with mirrors edge but decided to learn development just to make a spiritual success then its a win to me my dudes. Not everything needs to be an original ip / take 10+ years to develop.

These “spiritual successors” are often just necromancy. Please grab the spirit of an IP & deviate from it, don’t replicate an art direction + gameplay 1:1. I find this type of developers pretty shameless. The indie scene is full of leeches unfortunately.
Indie Game Joe@IndieGameJoe

This developer is building a futuristic parkour game that looks like the spiritual successor to Mirror’s Edge we’ve all been waiting for. I'm so excited! - No mini-maps (landmark-based navigation) - Open-world courier gameplay - What you carry is what you risk (falls wipe you)

Releasing #ScottPilgrimEX in the same time window as Nioh 3, Mewgenics, Resident Evil Requiem, Pokopia and Slay the Spire 2 was definitely not ideal... Picking a release date isn't easy. Please give Scott Pilgrim EX a shot when you're done playing all of these bangers!

@SenSchumer You have been around long enough to know what his spending was about. We get it you don’t care about budgets, or accounting cycles, but the game you are playing is insulting to your constituency.

Hegseth spent $93 billion in one month – roughly the cost of extending the ACA tax credits for THREE YEARS.     But instead of lowering American’s healthcare costs, Hegseth used millions of taxpayer dollars on fruit baskets, Herman Miller recliners, ice cream machines, Alaskan King Crabs, and a Steinway & Sons grand piano.   A true grifter in every sense of the word.
Headquarters@HQNewsNow

New Pentagon budget reports show Pete Hegseth spent $93 billion in one month, making it the highest monthly expense since 2008. This budget report included spending $2 million on Alaskan King Crab.

The thing that made Kanepixels a cut above a lot of other backrooms animators is that he understands what Danielewski saw with House of Leaves about the hypermodern condition as it relates to space and being, our world that is filled with spaces of mass use-value, anti-dwelling etc. The “monster” is only alluded to, and in HOL it is the space itself, and a distant growl is only a metaphor for the terror we feel inside when confronted with a pure nothingness of empty physical space, absurd, paradoxical, without human reason, it merely exists in a state of negation, or rather exists beyond the very humanly experiences of what places and space used to mean for us. In most other Backrooms videos you get monsters and “anomalies” that chase you, even though the anomaly is the very space itself rather than a typical horror genre creature-feature. And of course Kanepixels as his videos progressed used the backrooms for something novel by thinking beyond the confines of your typical horror film, which is “what would WE, as in our society, do if we actually had access to such a space?” Well simple, corporations and tech companies would use it for infinity storage capacity, solving most logistical problems. Not as fun and sexy as a creature/possession/apocalypse narrative right? It is banal, but the people who essentially run our world have very banal and calculation-driven ideas about what is useful and meaningful, therefore the backrooms (kind of like AI) would land not with an uncanniness, a thing which totally rewrites our very picture of reality, but integrated into our mundane and everyday experience.

@AlmCheryl29465 @nickshirleyy Thats your problem right there. You dont see trump as an individual you see him as an extension of your beliefs. Because of this you will never see him as the monster he is. Doing so would mean you have been wrong this entire time. Which you will never do.
