For my fundraising tour I will need a T-shirt and thanks to @moleatthedoor I am spoilt for choice! So I thought I would let YOU the people decide. Which is best?

Today, a mere FOUR WEEKS prior to the Senedd 2026 elections, @TheGreenParty in Wales published their manifesto. Some highlights: ❌No mention of upholding the Supreme Court judgment or protecting single-sex spaces. ❌A commitment to a ‘rights-based approach to women’s health’. But what on earth does that mean? ❌Concerningly, there’s a ringing endorsement of puberty blockers too, which given the current ban is either incredibly naive and ignorant, or is deliberately using children as collateral despite the health implications.

@AmnestyUK You ARE the ‘manosphere’. Don’t you dare come on here and talk about women as a sex class when you actively campaign to erase us as such.

Trans people of course deserve same protections against discrimination as other groups, but we must be clear that doesn't extend to the right to self-identify into services & spaces reserved for those of the opposite sex. Boundaries are kind and appropriate for everyone here.

This Trans Day of Visibility, let's remember those too often overlooked in endless debates over trans rights: trans people. Trans men and women deserve our love and support, not exclusion and hate.

🧵Alot of people are having a good laugh right now at the antics at the convention of Canada's New Democratic Party (the NDP). I particular, this woman, who has chaired the convention. Her name is Adrienne Smith, and while the clips may be funny, there is nothing funny about her agenda or the influence she wields. 1/9

To all media… we are watching you closely. Misinformation, deliberate gaslighting, and ambiguous language is not excusable, you have been told relentlessly and very clearly by the IOC; the policy applies to males not being allowed in the female category, for integrity, safety, fairness and equality of opportunity of females in their category. It’s that’s simple. Feelings and personal identities have no place in sport, just biological reality.

The solution is to eliminate gender criteria for bathrooms. No men or women’s facilities. Make facilities anatomy based. Penis facilities and vagina facilities. Men and women with penises share or and women and men with vaginas share the other. Solve the issue by ignoring gender all together. If the transters complain point out no one is saying they aren’t a woman or a man. And since genitals don’t define your gender no one is saying trans people don’t exist

All the complaints were rejected at first triage by the BBC. The response itself is biased by maintaining the pretence that Connell is female. The BBC Complaints Unit is as much a problem as Woman’s Hour. There are a couple of sensible people there but it’s run on the principle of affirmation. It’s a lot of effort to go through all the BBC stages to get to the ECU but you can make it easier by not overthinking each fresh progression of your complaint. If you work on the basis that it will be rejected (which it will be) it’s faster, and you can save your energy for the final go at the Executive Complaints Unit. Remember that there was a response like this rejecting the initial flood of complaints about Martine Croxall saying pregnant people are women. That was overturned when 20 people pursued it all the way to the ECU. This response isn’t the end of it. It’s just that there were so many complaints they had to issue something. bbc.co.uk/contact/compla…

Catch up thread from this week. First up Woman’s Hour and its ‘misogyny’ interview with Raewyn Connell, who it described as a ‘feminist sociologist studying the social theory of gender relations and masculinity’. While there might be reasons to interview a man about the misogyny of claiming to be a woman, only a team of raging activists would pretend he is a woman and ask him about his personal experience of ‘misogyny’ (of which he has none) and how to tackle it. He had no relevant expertise, except in his own perpetuation of misogyny, he added nothing, wasn’t asked the obvious questions, and was a poor, stumbling and dull radio guest. We’ve contacted the Controller of Radio 4 and the Head of Editorial Policy. /

Listen to Nuala’s horror when I say that men can’t be lesbians. It’s not in the least bit surprising that now she thinks a great galumphing bloke who started cross-dressing in his 60s is the best person to talk about his ‘experience’ of misogyny. Breathtaking from Woman’s Hour.

Our CEO Kate Barker was on @BBCWomansHour today defending lesbian boundaries and explaining the importance of the recent Supreme Court ruling for the rights of all LGB people. Listen to the full interview here 👇

Done. This is what I wrote in the text box. It’s not perfect as I’m in a rush but it’s too important to ignore. Thank you for sharing the link. “3 billion women in the world and Woman’s Hour decided to platform a man who says he’s a woman in order to discuss misogyny. That in itself is a massive slap in the face to women who cannot identify out of their lives, where many experience abuse, sexual violence and gaslighting by organisations such as Radio 4 who have decided a man with a a fetish is better placed to discuss an issue which only affects women. Shame on you for participating in this manipulative and disgusting display of misogyny. The irony would be amusing if it wasn’t so depressing. At this point you do not deserve to be called Women’s Hour, women are adult human females. Men cannot ever experience what it’s like to be a woman and the face that the producers and presenters did not consider how this would land or considered and didn’t care, is enough for me to stop listening to Radio 4 entirely.”

Delighted to see Euan Weddell has become much more psychologically robust of late but concerned to note that it seems to involve making threats with guns. If my libel action can flush out some more about his and Maugham’s connection with ‘Bash Back’, I am sure you will agree it’s money well spent.
