JUST IN: The Anti-Corruption Court has convicted former State Minister for Karamoja Affairs, Agnes Nandutu, over the diversion of 2,000 iron sheets meant for vulnerable communities in the Karamoja sub-region. Court found that Nandutu knowingly received and retained government property that was not lawfully allocated to her and which she had reason to believe had been irregularly diverted from a public programme intended for vulnerable beneficiaries. Her bail has been cancelled as she's remanded to Luzira Prison until Friday this week for sentencing, Juliet Kigongo reports. #MonitorUpdates

Certains dispositifs auraient été positionnés à Gisenyi (Rwanda), près de la frontière avec la RDC, un autre près de l’aéroport de Kamembe, à l’est de Bukavu, et un troisième à Kanyabayonga sur le territoire congolais. Ces interférences auraient perturbé les opérations aériennes, notamment celles des Soukhoï-25, et même causé la perte d’un drone de la MONUSCO. Face à cette situation, les FARDC doivent se préparer à localiser et neutraliser ces dispositifs, qu’ils soient installés sur le sol congolais ou au Rwanda.
