Assistive Devices: The Pathway to independence, Participation, and Meaning Inclusion of persons with disabilities. Only 5-15% of people requiring assistive technology have access, according to WHO. ADPHA Uganda with Partners is bridging the gap in our community members.

So we are appealing to the Government of Uganda to consider skin protection cream among the essential medical products

Extreme heat is not just uncomfortable, it’s life-threatening for people with albinism.🌞The lack of melanin makes them highly vulnerable to the sun’s rays. As heatwaves intensify, we must prioritise their health and safety. #Albinism @MinofHealthUG @UNFCCC @NUDIPU @adphauganda

The GC7 grant focuses on strengthening 15 National HIV,TB and Malaria Networks of which @adphauganda part of the engagement organized by @TASOUganda with an aim of discussing strategies that align National CSO networks efforts with government priorities .
