The Myth of Education Podcast

Today we remember and honor all those who sacrificed their lives to bring us the freedom we have today. Some public schools still honor that sacrifice but many have have forgotten. We ask school district governing boards to promote America's founding values which bind us together as citizens such as patriotism, religion, civic duty, justice, equality, and sacrifice. We ask you to reject the prevalent anti-American ideas that seek to destroy traditions, family structure, and human flourishing such as critical theory, postmodernism, cultural marxism, and secular humanism. There are some easy things you can do to see if your school values the Memorial Day sacrifice we're honoring today. Does your school recite the Pledge daily? Does your school teach American history and civics in the English language? Does your school respect a strong military and honor their members? Does your school respect the biblical basis for civil rights and American governance?

This is huge! Those of us following the @ALegalProcess know how SBMH snake oil has been deceptively sold to the detriment of public school students. Now mainline industry mag Psychology Today is sounding the alarm about school based mental health campaigns: “Users are constantly encouraged to find pathology in their daily lives. Adolescents, as well as naturally anxious or suggestible individuals, are particularly vulnerable to these messaging campaigns.” “Public campaigns are often broad, shallow, and increasingly, the evidence indicates they could be counterproductive. The cumulative effect of many and varied campaigns could be even worse.” Not only does it harm mental health, it grooms kids to become little Marxists trained to see systemic oppression around every corner. There's a reason "mental health" coincides with DEI programs: the one needs the other. As one goes down, so goes the other. Unwinding the SBMH monster will allow funds to be returned to the classrooms devoid of woke indoctrination. Just imagine how much more academic improvement we'll see if we start reversing the damage right now.

Major problem with Arizona's "Parents Bill of Rights..."

The Peoria sex case keeps getting weirder (read the headline in the attached image for starters)... Last week, People Magazine announced Amy Beck's return to teaching at a Peoria (AZ) district elementary school on May 4. She was put on leave days earlier for posting online video of herself simulating a sex act on her son while singing explicit lyrics. Who's Amy Beck and why should we care? Ms. Beck's daughter Haley Beck is the alleged child-sex offender from that same school district. People reports that Ms. Beck was put on leave April 28th. THREE days later, "on May 1, Coyote Hills Principal Julie Abbott wrote that a district investigation found that Amy's “actions outside of the workplace did not interfere with her ability to fulfill her teaching responsibilities.” For Peoria, posting fake sex video with your son has no bearing on teaching other people's kids. Why would People Magazine care about a local school teacher? It's only partly because she's the mom of child-sex scandal suspect Haley Beck. Her son whom she was in the inappropriate video with is Noah Beck, a YouTuber with 33M followers. The very next day (May 5), the Peoria district removed Peoria Board President @ThePeoriaMom from her role as the sole board member demanding an independent investigation into the alleged exploitation and cover-up. This allows the district to avoid disciplining any employee and from disclosing anything further about a child exploitation conspiracy. This vote happened with support from the Arizona teacher's union and even the republican party. When the GOP teams up with the teachers union, there is more to the story here. It's worth noting the Arizona Board of Education has kept Haley Beck's license as "valid" thereby allowing her to continue contact with children at other schools while they wait to take action. Here are the regular BoE meetings already scheduled. where the BoE could have taken action following their awareness of the concluding police investigation Dec 15, 2025 but chose not to: Monday, January 26, 2026 (41 days later) Monday, February 23, 2026 (69 days later) Monday, March 30, 2026 (108 days later) Monday, April 27, 2026 (136 days later) I expect the board to revoke her license eventually but I'm less optimistic about the Peoria school district. I predict they will do everything within their power to bury this and protect all staff from accountability. Stay tuned to find out!

What we know about the ongoing child-sex scandal cover-up in Peoria, AZ: When pressured to have an independent investigation of the child grooming cover-up, Peoria School District board members caved to union pressure by removing the one member asking the board to vote on it. Both teachers have been removed but no administrators who knew about it for the last 16 months have been disciplined at all. Not even a warning or a stern look. The superintendent wasn’t fired or even forced out. The board approved his resignation in March 2026 and he moved to take a new job in Colorado shortly after the police got involved. He’s still in his role at PUSD until the end of the school year. The principal was warned in writing of the grooming behavior by one of the teachers in February 2025. He did NOT report it to police. The male victim’s grandmother found evidence on his phone and reported to police in July 2025. PUSD received the police report detailing the sexual misconduct in Dec 2025. Local news outlets started breaking the story in March 2026. The district kept both teachers in their roles for the next several months knowing about their sex-grooming behavior. To this day, one of the two teachers still has a state license and is eligible to teach and groom more kids. You might think this can’t happen. The world is about to see how powerful school boards really are. This is why elections matter.
