My son just had his booking on the Interislander cancelled. No attempt to help him re-book. He'll have to abandon his car in the South Island, fly home to start uni, fly back in March to get his car. All at huge expense. No compensation offered. What a useless company.

The following Hobsonville / Beach Haven Ferry service has been cancelled due to cruise ship activity: 06:15 Hobsonville to Auckland via Beach Haven Check Live Departures before you travel. ^CL

@AT_TravelAlerts The ferry restrictions set by the Harbourmaster means all non ferry operations must be clear of the ferry basin between 6:30 and 9:00. The tugs were well clear before this time and all propulsion shut down. You cannot blame the cruise ship for your cancellation

@Glennr181 @AT_TravelAlerts Cruise ship was tied up before 6:30. Our tugs must depart the ferry basin by 6:30 which they did, cancellation cannot be blamed on the cruise ship
