The Second Temple–period Book of Jubilees (c. 2nd century BC) describes the height of the Tower of Babel as 5,433 cubits and 2 palms, which is around 2,800 meters, far taller than any known modern structure today. The tallest completed building today is the Burj Khalifa, at about 828 meters tall, so the Tower of Babel in Jubilees would be roughly 3.4 times taller. The Tower of Babel represents the elite who survived the Flood attempting to rebuild their technology, only to be wiped out and “confused” again, another phase of the Geophysical Event. Here is a representation of the Tower of Babel placed in modern cities such as Dubai, Paris, London, New York, and Beijing.
