After an incredible two years @DapDapMeUp, I’m moving on to explore new opportunities in DeFi. I’m deeply grateful for the experiences, the support of the team, and the guidance from the founder @0x_socratic - I’ve grown a lot professionally and personally. At DapDap I led BD, owning partnerships end-to-end: sourcing deals, closing them, coordinating co-marketing, and tracking impact across ecosystem initiatives. I was first brought on to work on our product DapDap which transitioned into building a number of other consumer products like @0xberatown, @0xNADSA, Coinmunity - a @MetaMask credit card cash-back platform for @LineaBuild & @Consensys, and a cross-chain stable coin transfer protocol powered by @NEARProtocol intents, @0xstableflow. Across these five apps, we supported 500k+ users, facilitated over $500M in cross-chain transfers, and shipped across multiple L1s/L2s and ecosystems. Most importantly, every product we launched put UX and abstraction of complexity at the centre. Building consumer-facing DeFi experiences has been on of the most rewarding parts of this journey. I’ve been working full-time in crypto since 2020 and I’m excited for what’s next. I’m especially interested in lean, high-ownership teams working on DeFI, stable coins, RWAs, or new consumer primitives in Web3 - where BD, product, and strategy are tightly connected. bm everyone, Today is my last day at Berachain. Among all the places I've worked in the last 10 years, this has easily been the best. I joined the team a couple years back excited to not only put bears on the blockchain, but to work with an elite team building out a crazy experiment. I didn't know just how much I'd love working with this crew, through highs (Boyco) and lows (also Boyco), and it was very hard to make the decision to move on. This remains one of the most talented, passionate, and familial cultures in the space, and I know that there's still a lot of passion and drive to improve from the top down. After a lot of hard work over the last 6 months, PoL vNext is going live soon with some initial case studies (see Smokey’s new tweet), so it felt like a logical point to take a step back and get back to building 0->1. Huge amount of thanks to @SmokeyTheBera for taking a bet on me, and thanks to everyone for the small moments, the comraderie, and the support. It's been an honor and a pleasure.
