I’m going to be brutally honest with you: I think it’s sad the girl got shot in Minneapolis. I’m praying for her friends and family during what is obviously a tragic time in their lives. It’s also scary that she did what she did. Not just because she hurt someone who was doing their job either. But because she thought she could do something like that. I’m not sure what could convince a person that they’re entitled to resist arrest. I tried a couple times when I was a young fella, and it wasn’t pretty. You’re not just allowed to flee the scene, or drive your car away because you don’t ideologically agree with the authority of law enforcement. So this was a terrible tragedy that, in my opinion could’ve been avoided by a healthy belief system. I know nothing about this young woman. I won’t pretend I do. But NO ONE should have the misconception that they are free to PEACEFULLY resist the government and law enforcement. You’re simply not going to win, whether you’re innocent or not. My personal experiences in this department definitely jaded me for many years about the cops back when I was still on the left. I simply can’t imagine taking the law into my own hands and trying to drive my car away from law enforcement—men with guns. How ideologically opposed to law and order does one have to be to do something like that? 😭 Anyways, it makes me sad even though I disagree with her actions.

Stop saying “she was driving away!” She was actively interfering with law enforcement. They had enough, He was in front of her car, AFTER they had already asked her 3 times to get out of the car. Her action was head on in her full view. There is no “they should have just let her flee!” She wasn’t an innocent bystander. The shooting was tragic. Her death was unnecessary. But you can’t go head-on into an arresting officer and then say it’s all on him. The Democrats OWN this. There are too many examples of them condoning her actions. They made her feel safe to do so, justified, even. I can name 1,000 ways not to get shot. None of them are “when getting arrested, try driving over the officer.”

I'm sure this will not be popular on X, but I guarantee that over half of people in Minnesota would prefer that ICE just leave, people stop filming fraud, and everyone just leave the state alone. Even if it means fraud continues and illegals keep committing violent crimes, they prefer to go back to the no drama days. That passive "we do not need controversy" type sentiment is probably why the state is being destroyed, but it is absolutely a feature of many Minnesotans.

Actually you are only half right. NG is a dual military branch serving both state & federal government. Ever heard of the Dick Act? NG can go to war or be federalized for something like Covid 19. They are called for state service for hurricanes, protests, riots, wildfires, or even search & rescue. They are not a state only militia. They are a branch like the Reserves. When officers approach your vehicle do not ignore their commands. Obey their instructions. 3. Never speed off especially with an officer in your path.
