@ZerodhaVarsity I mean you are a financial firm - How can you even comapre this with 401K? 401K is pretax with employee employer contribution and locking period till retirement. This is simple mutual fund investment via salary - no tax benefit, no locking NPS is close to 401K if not exact.

Could India soon get its own version of the US 401(k)? SEBI just put out a proposal that could let your employer deduct a part of your salary and invest it directly into mutual funds on your behalf. Combine that with Life Cycle Funds introduced earlier this year, and things can get interesting.

@TheINIofficial In last 2 weeks, drove 100 KM on Samruddhi and 400 KM on Mumbai Delhi Eway (MP-RAJ section). They are not smooth at all. Even Sambhaji Nagar to Dhule and normal National or State Highway are better and smooth. Expressway having bumpy ride and too much patchwork. Car Type-SUV

Here are some images of the freshly made Golden Quadrilateral project back in the 2000s! People generally say that the traffic and road conditions were much better back then. What's your opinion on this? PC: Respective owners.

@ThePuneMirror It's all hand in glove case Sab mile hue hai.Why removing the silencer sieze the bike for 6 months.Removing silencer will further escalate nuisance. How much a silencer cost? Getting another one is no big deal. Bike hi seize karna sahi option hai agar ise khatam karna hai to..

Late-night noise from modified bike silencers has become a serious problem across several areas of Pune, with residents saying the disturbance happens almost every night. People living around NIBM Road, Salunkhe Vihar, Kharadi Bypass, Nagar Road, and Uruli Devachi say groups of riders with modified Royal Enfield bikes frequently ride through residential streets after midnight, revving their engines loudly and disturbing the peace. Many residents claim the noise continues even at 3 AM or later, making it difficult for families, elderly people, and children to sleep. While Pune Police have taken action in the past by seizing and crushing illegal silencers, locals say the problem still persists in several neighbourhoods. Citizens are now questioning why entire communities should lose sleep because of a few irresponsible riders. Many are urging authorities to increase night patrols and take stricter action against modified silencers creating noise pollution. Have you also experienced this problem in your area? #PuneNews #PuneTraffic #NoisePollution #PunePolice #Punetimesmirror

@Khurpenchinfra Why everywhere they putting this kind of tree (Palm?). They serve no purpose, better they can bush or canopy trees which grow in size and they can design those. Palm tree does not absorb pollutant compare to canopy tree or bushes.

@anandmahindra We dont meed more autos. They and thier eider are erratic, unsafe on today's roads where vehicle speed is increasing day by day. A golf cart type transport would have been better, which is stable atleast and cam safely accomodate more passengers and look good compre to this.

The humble ‘auto’ has been one of the most common elements of India’s transport ecosystem for decades. They are everywhere. Yet, for too long, they have been mostly noisy and their designs so static that they almost commoditise the look and feel of our urban roads. Every time I passed one, I wondered why they couldn’t look more appealing, even futuristic. After all, the sci-fi comic books of our youth often featured pod-like city-shuttles that looked exactly like evolved auto-rickshaws! I’ve always believed that a three-wheeler with contemporary design and a quiet electric powertrain could be a global success, even in the West, as a sleek city-centre shuttle. A few years ago, I shared the story of the BIJLEE, our first electric 3-wheeler launched back in 1999. It was born from the inspiration of one of our great engineers, the late Mr. Nagarkar. While the BIJLEE didn’t endure because the ecosystem wasn't ready, the dream of a modern, dignified three-wheeler never died. So, thank you, @BosePratap, for taking up the challenge. You’ve created a design that is sleek, aerodynamic, and evolutionary. It enhances the dignity of the ‘pilots’ without alienating them through over-disruption. And kudos to @sumanmishra_1 for the courage to invest in productionising this vision, and to your team for executing with such efficiency. Mr. Nagarkar would have been as proud of you all as I am. Welcome to the Mahindra UDO. May you Rise, as your name says you will...

@punekarnews With immediate effect you can start cleaning roads - Make sure no loose dust on road. Ask every builder to make sure thier construction vehicle is clean. Let traffic police enforce and impound the vehicle. Ask them to have sprinkler on site to reduce airborne dust.

Its time move forward rather than setting up backword policy like this. This kind of policies create more divide than unity. Right now what india need is unity among citizens and that is what every leader not understanding. #UGC_RollBack #UGCRollBack #UGCRegulations

The last time any #Pune roads looked this good (smooth roads, nice lane markings, signage, new lights, painted side walks, painted clean walls, etc... all of this together) was during the Commonwealth Youth Games, held here in 2008. It took another 18 years - and another major international sporting event, the 'Pune Grand Tour' - to get this level of upgrades! (Note - most of these 'upgrades' are BASIC urban street design requirements by international standards... sadly, we see these only on special occasions in most cities in India - I guess except Lutyens Delhi). We need to evaluate the priorities, capabilities, incentives for the entire civic bureaucracy. Why is this work not done all the time? Budget issues? Priority issues? Apathy? Leadership? Training? What else? Urban planning & management is a top issue for India, as we aim for 'Vikasit Bharat' by 2047. And this needs TOP PRIORITY. @navalMH @mohol_murlidhar @Dev_Fadnavis @narendramodi

@TopDriverIndia Agree. Driver ed is must. What minister is proposing is okay not great. People will find loopholes of that proposed ₹1 Lakh. More corruption. Also emergency service should reach, than individual picking up because we dont know criticality of injury.

The indian government machinery is heavily focused on reducing Road deaths, than PREVENTING road accidents! That’s because road death statistics look bad in conferences. That’s why govt focuses 99% attention on seatbelt, helmet and first aid, but ZERO attention on PREVENTION OF ACCIDENTS. Zero effort to introduce compulsory Driver Education. zero effort on strict licensing with Road test etc. Summary: They don’t care if you get into an accident, just don’t die, because it looks bad on the numbers. #RoadSafety

This is the attitude of most bikers in our country. Helmet 🪖 on the arm 💪 No mirrors 🪞🪞 They're made like this due to enforcement focusing only on fine amounts not safety. In this gap, optimism bias creeps in. Most people think exactly like this,I ride every day and nothing bad happens,so nothing will happen. Crashes are rare but when they happen, the helmet could become the only thing between life and death !!

Avoid Tree cutting for building something temporarily. There must be plenty of barren land. This project is not any infrastructure project which will benefit millions. Choose better options.
