In AD 155, Justin Martyr pointed to baptism as the moment a person is born again and their sins are washed away. Jesus and Peter said the same (John 3:5; Acts 2:38; 1 Pet 3:21). Even Luther agreed. Baptism as "just a symbol" doesn't appear until Zwingli in the 1520s.

If they dont worship the Triune God after He came to earth I dont see how you can say its the same God.

I find all these comments from people nit addressing what the meme is saying. The meme is stating that for a person to be saved they must go through the Orthodox Church and directly through Jesus Christ believing the gospel. If the Orthodox Church believes that Protestants are Christians and saved who believe in Sola Scriptura, Justification by Faith Alone in Christ Jesus, who denies the perpetual virginity of Mary and believes icons are idolatry, then prove it. To my knowledge those who believe those things are anathema, which means outside the church, and according to Orthodox teachings there is no salvation outside the Orthodox Church.

A Protestant walk into an Orthodox Church. @KellyPowersBPA We dont think you are saved, we think there is a possibility that you could be saved. You just bring in your preconceived notions and think that we are talking about the same thing we are. Our beliefs are biblical, you do not have the right framework to read the bible.
