@gnpplus thanks all the in person and virtual participants in the Asia PLHIV leadership Summit which was graced by over 45 PLHIV leaders from various countries across Asia, including Cambodia, Nepal, Lao PDR, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Bhutan, who participated in the Asia Regional Summit held in collaboration with @apnplus_ this week. During the two days, Leaders focused on emphasizing the unique realities faced by the PLHIV in Asian region. Collectively, we will work towards identifying sustainable solutions for enhancing our engagement as PLHIV with government and partners in the HIV response. My urgent call is that Lenacapavir must not become another breakthrough that goes out only after a decade to those who need it most. This week, we successfully concluded the Special Session of the @UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board (PCB). I am pleased to share that the Board reached consensus on important decisions related to our revised operating model and #UN80 and that the workplan & budget for 2026 was approved by the Board.
