The state government is all falling.
We are watching it in real time.
Illinois was ranked 49th by U-Haul for citizens leaving the state, with California the only state worse.
But Democrats' new voter registrations since 2020 grew by the thousands.
We are seeing small communities' demographics change within a few years.
In our March 2026 primary, the Republicans can’t win a statewide race.
I don’t see us voting our way out of this.

McNeil testifies that TSA has been shut down for half of fiscal year 2026, and $1 billion in TSA paychecks will be missed if the shutdown isn't ended by Friday. She testified that to make ends meet, TSA officers have been selling blood and plasma and sleeping in their cars. Some have received eviction notices, missed bill payments and accrued late fees, damaged their credit, and have defaulted on loans, but are “still expected to perform at the highest level”.

i have been tracking this for about 6 months.. nearly every race has shown a 10 point swing for dems from what trump won, even in nashvill the person running for congress lost, but picked up 10 points. this means if it holds and it will. the house flip will be about 50 seats. look at the members that wone by 10 points or less last cycle, they are in trouble. you may not like it, but look back and you will find out i am right.
