“There’s been this move afoot in which markets have become something closer to a mechanism by which to harvest…subsidies, rather than what they were intended to do, which is ensure least cost dispatch of available resources and to incentivize new investment.” -FERC's James Danly

At a recent Senate committee hearing, @NERC_Official CEO Jim Robb confirmed @EPA's policies are pushing power generation off the grid too fast to maintain reliability. We need interagency coordination and common sense. Read more: bit.ly/3QXAPPO

American coal is playing a powerhouse role in the global energy game. Last year alone, the U.S. sent a whopping 84.8 million short tons of coal to 71 countries! U.S. coal is stepping up when the world needs it the most. bit.ly/3OCGxUp

ALERT: @EPA carbon rule is threatening to turn off the lights in Ohio. Grid operators decry the detrimental effect on grid reliability, the chilling effect on investment, and EPA's unrealistic mandate of unworkable technologies. americaspower.org/grid-operators…

Global coal usage increasing despite a massive coordinated war on coal (EPA regs, UN, ESG, Wind/Solar subsidies etc). Makes you think. Perhaps Coal is a product people need. 🤔
International Energy Agency@IEA

Global coal use is set to remain at record levels in 2023, with growth in Asian economies offsetting declines in Europe & North America Stronger policies & investments are needed to drive a massive surge in clean energy More in our new market report ⬇️ iea.li/3QalBGN

The White House is forcing the American people into a “rush to green” agenda and taking away personal choices. Instead, we should be focused on making America energy dominant – not trying to control what kind of stoves or water heaters people buy. Watch below ⬇️

Great discussion with @AlexEpstein and Larry Kudlow! Bottom Line: If you want the economy to grow and people to have affordable energy, the War on Coal, which is really a War on Growth, needs to end. It's immoral to keep billions of people in poverty.
Alex Epstein@AlexEpstein

China has been permitting 2 new coal plants a week. That makes sense, because they actually want more energy. We, unfortunately, seem to want less energy. (On @FoxBusiness with Larry Kudlow.)

"Despite claims to the contrary, there is nothing easy or simple about reshaping the nation’s supply of power. Trying to do so as electricity demand soars is a doubly difficult task. It’s past time we stop demonizing the coal..." washingtonexaminer.com/restoring-amer…

EPA’s agenda, so detached from reality, is sowing the seeds for a colossal self-made energy crisis. When the nation should be scrambling to add new electricity generating capacity... EPA is instead determined to take them apart. countoncoal.org/2023/06/the-el…

The Supreme Court ruling against @EPA’s costly & burdensome #WOTUS rule is a tremendous victory for American agriculture, businesses, & land owners. @EPA must now put forward a common sense rule that protects both clean water & the rights of rural communities.
