@ekkiet Is it just me, or is the anti-calvinist venom ramping up lately in intensity & quantity? Algorithms can mess w/perception, so it's hard to tell. But from my eyes, it sure seems like more professing Christians are comfortable & even eager to angrily attack believers & hurl hate.

@Oldbiddy18 @MagnusFratus @5Solas2 Correct. But God does not arbitrarily send people to heaven or hell, like 5 point Calvinists believe. Like you said, he send those to hell who freely choose to reject Him. He gives us a choice.

What do Calvinists believe? Can anyone accurately represent their beliefs?

ALL HUMANITY SHOULD GO TO HELL BECAUSE WE ARE SINNERS. The fact that anyone is saved from hell is because of grace. Hell we deserve. Grace we do not.

@JThe0philus @5Solas2 This cannot possibly support the idea that God pre determined anyone to hell. To use this scripture that way would cause the scripture to make no sense. That makes no sense to use for support of Calvinist. Patience implies two wills, otherwise patience isn't involved.

@HammerEnjoyer @5Solas2 I beg to differ. I see infant baptism as the carry over from Rome. And I'm well versed in 'Calvinism'.

@5Solas2 They’re Covenant Theologians and approach Scripture with that hermeneutic. Baptists will call themselves “Calvinists” but only, really, agree with our doctrine of Predestination. Proof that they don’t understand “Calvinism” is in their reluctance to baptize their children.

5 point Calvinists believe that God determined before the beginning of time what human beings would go to hell and what human beings would go to heaven. This determination is presumably based on no choice the human being will make during their life but seemingly a secret reason that God has that we will never know. This belief is of course, no biblical.
