Satan whispers in everyone’s ear. Temptation’s tune sweeter as we grow weaker, or bolder. An eternal struggle. Weakness is Satan’s strength. Our Salvation, God forgives the Repentant. Jesus died, Rose & Ascended, creating Disciples of Believers. Know Christ. Seek & Be Saved.

An elderly woman in Green Bay placed an American Flag on her front porch to honor her WWII veteran husband who recently passed away... But someone stole the flag, so she reported it to the police. When Green Bay Police Officer Rob Ecke found out, he went out and bought a new flag for the woman. He and other officers delivered it to her and put it up for her. Officer Ecke is a veteran so he knows how special the flag is to military families. Thumbs UP and Thank you to Officers Ecke, Thorseson, Lt. Strouf and Capt. Muraski for going out of their way to make this right. A small but meaningful gesture that took place in 2016 but still, like our flag, stands tall today.

BREAKING: In a powerful display of solidarity, thousands of Americans are marching in Selma to protest against the Supreme Court's rulings gutting the Voting Rights Act. This is amazing.

Marc Andreessen just revealed how Harvard Business School was built on a broken 1941 theory, and how it's now collapsing... Andreessen co-founded Netscape in 1994 and a16z in 2009. He has sat on Meta's board since 2008. He has spent 30 years backing founders — and watching managerial CEOs lose to them. The pattern traces back to one book: James Burnham's The Machiavellians (1941). Burnham argued every great company had been founder-run. Henry Ford ran Ford. Bob Noyce ran Intel. Today, Elon Musk runs Tesla, SpaceX, and Starlink. Then, he said, something broke. Between the 1880s and the 1920s, a new philosophy replaced the founder. It was called managerialism. The professional manager would now hold a portable skill, usable across any business. The consequences were: • Harvard Business School • Stanford Business School • Management as a universal skill • The 1970s conglomerate "That assumes the managers are going to do a good job," Andreessen says. For 30 years, they haven't. Managers can run something static, he says. Soup is soup. A bank is a bank. A car is a car. But when the industry changes, the manager freezes. Look at SpaceX. "Imagine being a professionally trained manager, trained at a top management school, working for a rocket launch company, competing with SpaceX." Then Elon's rockets started landing on their butt. "Your management skills ... what good are they at that point?" Andreessen's conclusion: "You're much more likely to build something important in the 21st century if you start with the founder and train them on management." What "professionally run" institution in your life has quietly stopped working? If you're new here, @GeniusGTX is a gallery for the greatest minds in economics, psychology, and history. SSRIs are dangerous and their efficacy is questionable Exercise, diet, sleep, meditation and socialization/community are well established solutions for depression or the blues. Mock @joerogan, @TomCruise or me for pointing this out, but this is the established truth Go research it. Be very careful with these drugs, as joe points out, they are known to make people suicidal and their efficacy is unknown. And they are brutally hard to get off of x.com/overton_news/s…

American staff took everything Chinese officials handed out - credentials, burner phones from WH staff, pins for delegation - collected them before we got on AF1 and threw them in a bin at bottom at stairs. Nothing from China allowed on the plane. We’re taking off shortly for America

@Richzeoli catching the pod late. One place to monitor their AI output. If they had our data properly monitored, their AI would not lag as it does today. When they surpass our AI pioneers, that’s going to be a bad day.

@TimOnPoint Penn has been such a treasure, it is shameful that modern staff ignore its history and the many contributors who had a far different vision than the Penn of today.

Bottom Line Up Front: The U.S. produces ample new talent via bootcamps + degrees, combined with a large existing workforce (~1.65M+ in software roles) and moderate underemployment of qualified STEM graduates. Better domestic recruiting, relocation incentives, or pay adjustments would close gaps WITHOUT H-1B reliance.
