I like that in my lifetime, every time the Pistons have been at the top of the east, they have the same style of play. Always based on defense and physicality. Is there another franchise that has a style of play brand throughout that long of a history?

People tend to wanna push back on this guy but Embiid based on what he has gone through physically in his career, is one of the mentally toughest (love my sport) players in the history of the game.

I think he's the best regular-season coach in the NBA. I think the playoff stuff is concerning—nowhere near "fire him" concerning, but concerning nonetheless.
He builds these awesome structures than adheres too strictly to them when the playoffs require more adaptability.

The Mazzulla thing sucks because you sound like a doomer if you complain about him with the ring and the regular season resume but the 23, 25, and 26 playoffs are genuine nightmare stuff out of him. Idk

Make no mistake about it: this series will be totally worth it if Mazzulla gets axed. He’s a clear and present danger to the franchise. He’s that bad.

Just a gutless performance from the Celtics. A Game 7 loss at home as the 2 seed up 3-1 is straight out of the Doc Rivers playbook. It going to 7 games was already embarrassing.

Detroit and Boston, the top two seeds in the East, were better last year. By a lot.
Meanwhile, the Knicks did a classic rope-a-dope during the regular season. They may be the third seed but they’re the class of the conference.
