@0gaten10 @MisfitPatriot Unless you have a stock that touches the barrel because its not free floated and is being reinstalled inconsistently. Rifle accuracy depends on 1 thing and thats consistency.

@OzzyD775 @MisfitPatriot Rifle accuracy depends on 3 things. Sights. Barrel. Trigger. All 3 are tied together. If you attached that bit on a vice, without the stock, it would shoot and accurately Stop embarrassing yourself

@TheWand36470391 @Neo19631 @MisfitPatriot Yes 140 yards isnt far, BUT YOU NEED A GOOD ZERO STILL. thats the point. Disassembling the stock from the rifle and all the other stuff he did to that rifle before taking the shot will mess up that zero.

@OzzyD775 @Neo19631 @MisfitPatriot It was obviously a bad shot. No one aims at the neck. You aim at center mass naturally. A fool might aim at the head So yes, the shot was lucky. Because the shooter was inexperienced and the weapon not very accurate. But also, 140 yards isn’t that far. A 30-06 is good to 1000

@luke_tagle @MisfitPatriot @OzzyOsbourne Oh my god lol... go back to shooting your 6 moa AK and dont worry about the accuracy stuff. "The weapons are designed to be broken apart so they can be properly cleaned." people dont take their rifle stocks off to clean a bolt action rifle dumbass.

You're braindead dude. Optics can be taken off ANY RAIL, and retain zero as long as you place it on the same position, that's why picatany rails have numbers on it you dumb fuck 😂. Bolt action stocks only have one position where the optic is mounted. The weapons are designed to be broken apart so they can be properly cleaned. You make it sound like Robinson bashed the weapon apart in order to break it apart and duct taped it together once he was on the roof. I'm sure Robinson knew what he was doing, his dad is an avid hunter. He knew how to operate that weapon. You know you're wrong on this. Just admit it

@OzzyD775 @MisfitPatriot The scope is mounted on the Picatinny rail mounted over the barrel so yes, it will maintain zero. Everytime

@LandoMoto @MAC_Arms @MrRobertgage @MisfitPatriot Literally none of them are disassembling the action from the stock in the field due to accuracy and zero issues. In fact most of them have gone to chassis systems (MRAD, AXSR) for exactly that reason.

@OzzyD775 @MAC_Arms @MrRobertgage @MisfitPatriot No they are alot harder on their equipment. Mines slung over my shoulder bouncing off of me, branches, rocks. Usually in the rain or snow. So to see he missed his head by a few inches completely reasonable. Id even expect better.

@flat3rth @MisfitPatriot So you think a 30-06 round will impact higher at 140 yards than at 100 yards? Yes or no.

@stg_resnov @Neo19631 @MisfitPatriot No shit, but the rifle needs to BE ZEROED. Disassembling a POS rifle, running around with it in your pants, and reassembling it on the fly with a screw driver will almost certainly change your zero.

I’m a retard when it comes to firearms and even I can hit a STATIONARY TARGET at 200 yards very easily. Tyler absolutely was aiming center mass and hit high and slight right. If he was aiming for Kirk’s head, he was even more of an inexperienced shooter than led to believe. This is not a difficult shot to make.

@MAC_Arms @OzzyD775 @MrRobertgage @MisfitPatriot Apparently every hunter to make a kill shot never had a cold bore? Lol like the deer will just stand there and be "like okay hes gonna shoot 3 sighters" before hes actually going to try and kill me 🤣

@flat3rth @MisfitPatriot You do realize that where your rifle impacts at its zeroed distance wont be the same further out? For instance, at 140 yards it will hit low if you have it zeroed at 100. You have to DIAL in the elevation or hold over. Or do you just mag dump your Draco into trash?

@TurfOsu @MisfitPatriot Way more likely it was at the head. At 140 yards, he didn't dial elevation and it landed low (the neck). And IF he did make that shot it was extremely lucky based on circumstances associated with that rifle.

@OzzyD775 @MisfitPatriot Another thing. This "rifle" was claimed as a Mauser action .30-06 hunting rifle. Then morphed into an antique, un-serial numbered K98. Which is it? A .30-06 bolt action hunting rifle or a modified (8mm) K98? That stock photo is not a model K98.

@HondaDavidson1 @MisfitPatriot Iron sights are literally better than an optic in this situation because they aren't as prone to losing zero when banged around. Your comment is helping my case.

@OzzyD775 @MisfitPatriot It’s not hard at all. I’m fine with iron sights from 300 yards. Give me a scope worth a few thousand dollars and it’s an easy shot.

@durty_keyboard @MisfitPatriot WHICH IS THE POINT. Disassembling and reassembling a POS rifle and scope will almost certainly mess up the zero. So BEST case scenario is it was an extremely lucky shot.

@luke_tagle @MisfitPatriot @OzzyOsbourne Lol literally AI's answer dumbass - Removing a bolt-action stock without proper technique or consistent torque will almost certainly shift your point of impact (often 1–3+ MOA) and degrade precision by altering receiver tension and barrel harmonics.

Lmao, your zero doesn't change. Unless youve been bashing your optic or knocking it off the rail every time you dismount the rail for cleaning. The AK rails are literally designed to be able to be taking apart often and still retain zero. You clearly don't know what your talking about. Mind explaining more @grok?

@IamR0galD0rn A sportized Mauser with a $20 bass scope and budget ammo is not a nail driver. And being disassembled and reassembled after being put in a dudes pants to run around with can certainly mess up the zero.

Human sized yarget at 140 yards is something a child can reliably hit with a .22 and iron sites on Roger 10/22. In fact 140 yards is just within 'hunting range'. And that's basically the weakest commonly circulated/used caliber. But for target shooting you can get good results at 300 to 400 yards with optics. A .30-06 is a nail driver.
Ozzy@OzzyD775

@MisfitPatriot Show me how well it stays zero'd after running around with it in your pants, then make a first round impact like that at 140 yards dumbass.

@idspud21 @ZornNThorn @MisfitPatriot I am an Accuracy International collector and precision ammo reloader. I am in the mile club. I have over 100k in equipment at this point. Without getting into more detail I am well qualified in this subject (im not LE or Mil though).

@FailCodeGames @Neo19631 @MisfitPatriot Lol if only you knew the shit I had. Probably some of the nicest equipment available. Take the highest end to 700 action rifle (Surgeon or GA Precision lets say), remove the stock then reassemble, your zero will still change. Equipment quality doesn't totally mitigate that.

@OzzyD775 @Neo19631 @MisfitPatriot You need to invest in some better equipment, if you dropped your rifle hard directly on the scope then maybe it would effect the zero other than that the rest is all steel that holds its shape remarkablly well
