Long thread! A remain supporter has asked why I am pro-Brexit.  Whether it was a genuine question or not, I thought it was something worth answering properly. Twitter probably doesn’t lend itself to such an open question, but if anyone’s interested, here goes…

@TheFreeWorldOrg @Politax3 @churchosaj @ActionBrexit @Nigel_Farage All the rules within the Anti Tax Avoidance Directive were already UK law and remain UK law. The UK's legislation is more robust than anything required by the EU. This is widely known. Talking about other people's ignorance makes you look an idiot I'm afraid.

@wendlingere49 @dave43law You block people for saying this, but you're simply a liar. You know this isn't true, almost everyone knows it isn't true by now. What can you possibly gain? More people will know you're a liar. There's no evidence he is anything other than a British citizen and taxpayer.

@dave43law The problem is that like Brexit Farage did not lose his EU citznshp. He failed to get German but ended up getting Belgium Citznshp, where he pays lower taxes than here.Leaving the ECHR will not affect Farge or Badenoch, just the rest of us.

@LizWebsterSBF @WendyNowak There were NO advantages to Brexit, except it allows rich men to stash their millions off shore without needing to declare it to the tax man.The EU were about to bring in a law that would make it against EU law not to declare money for tax.

@wendlingere49 @LizWebsterSBF @WendyNowak Correct. Its extraordinary that in 2015 2016 this was well known thanks to people like Carole Cadwallder and yet not made a thing of enough at the time. When people want to follow the leader off the cliff its hard to arrest the momentum.

After searching, there's no confirmed evidence that Nigel Farage holds a Belgian passport. He is a British citizen and a resident of Belgium, where he pays taxes. His children have German passports via their mother, but reports indicate his own application for German citizenship was rejected.

Brexit was always only a good idea for wealthy elite speculation and wealth consolidation. They also escaped the EU’s tax avoidance measures. Brexit delivered three concrete advantages for the wealthy elite: 1. Speculation on Crisis •Currency volatility, land sell-offs, and regulatory shocks = prime opportunities for hedge funds and private equity. •Farmers, SMEs, and workers absorbed the risk, while financiers shorted the pound or bought distressed assets. 2. Land & Asset Consolidation •Removal of EU protections (like CAP structures and some state aid rules) opened the door to fire-sale farming land and other UK assets. •Inheritance tax reform (APR/BPR changes) is part of that story, forcing family farms to sell while corporates/foreign investors hoover up. 3. Escape from EU Tax Justice •The EU’s Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive (2016) and work on a Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base aimed to stop profit-shifting and secrecy jurisdictions. •🇬🇧 elites didn’t want to be trapped in a European system designed to close loopholes. •By leaving, they kept Britain aligned with the Caymans, BVI, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man model protecting offshore flows.

🚨 James Dyson says: “Even if you’re worse off, it’s better to make your own decisions”. But Brexit wasn’t about *our* decisions, it was about his and he isn’t poorer. Dyson wanted freedom for billionaires to do what they like, pay less tax and shrug off rules that never stopped them trading across the world anyway. 👉 The result? Britain is poorer, families are struggling and small businesses face more red tape, while Dyson still sells into Europe and runs his HQ from Singapore. Dyson pushed a decision that worked only for super rich, and left everyone else carrying the cost. Brexit means 👉 Independence for billionaires to dodge EU investigations into tax avoidance. 👉 Freedom for the super-rich to set their own rules, while the rest of us face food inflation, red tape & weaker rights. Brexit was sold as taking back control. In truth, it was billionaires taking control and ordinary people paying the price.

@LizWebsterSBF @Bagoman3 The EU "clamped down" on tax avoidance by implementing rules the UK already had. If anything, the EU turbo-charged tax avoidance by allowing competitive tax regimes, like Ireland, to operate within a system which insists on non-discrimination. politax.com/post/was-brexi…

Yes, Ireland was used by multinationals like Apple to funnel profits and dodge UK tax. But let’s be clear: Brexit didn’t stop tax avoidance, it turbocharged it. The EU at least tried to clamp down. Post-Brexit, billionaires like Dyson pushed for “independence” so they could escape scrutiny altogether. Brexit was about making it easier for the super-rich while the rest of us were left poorer.

There are 3 shell companies involving Farage's girlfriend, his project director from Brussels & her banker friend. None of them traded. These are all massive red flags for a money laundering operation. Farage can't officially receive donations from abroad, I'm sure he does.

United won’t get Sesko because they don’t have the money. It’s incredible how far they’ve fallen. And sad. Let’s hope the money spent on Mbeumo proves worth it. He’s an all or nothing gamble.
