My guess is... that they have bought "hashed data" and are using device thumbprints to do identity resolution against their audience data and your hashed shopify Order data. The Shopify order data doesn't have device ids, & identiy thumbprints but it does have PII which could get matched if they have licensed the data from somewhere else

Does anyone know the mechanism for these? Without PII, how is Applovin doing this?

ATTN California (Mt. Baldy area) >>> September 9, 2025, approx. 7:45am. Loud booming sasquatch howl heard near trailhead parking lot 1/4 mile before the end of Mt. Baldy Road. The witness is a former LAPD officer (confirmed). He is very credible and manage to record the last few seconds of the long vocalization with his phone. It is very distinctly a sasquatch howl -- definitely not a coyote or a human (not even a human trying to sound like a sasquatch). Over the years there have been several sightings and vocals reported by people in these parking lots for the trailhead up the road from the village of Mt. Baldy. The incidents usually occurred in early morning or late afternoon. If you live in the Los Angeles area, this area around the end of Mt. Baldy Road is probably the single best bet for hearing or seeing a sasquatch. The sasquatch that made the vocalization was definitely on the large end of the sasquatch size spectrum, just by the sound of the vocal. The investigator notes in the full report explain why I am not going to make the sound recording public for now. I can release it to BFRO investigators though.
