Chris Hipkins should be absolutely roasted for his blatant hypocrisy when he does his media interviews tomorrow morning. Last week, Hipkins said: “We need to be able to disagree with each other without resorting to violence or personal denigration and abuse.” Just seconds later he personally attacked David Seymour, Winston Peters, and Shane Jones for their inflammatory rhetoric. Then, less than 48 hours after lecturing the public about avoiding personal attacks, Jordan Rivers — a Labour Party staffer in his own office — launched a personal attack on David Seymour over his appearance. “It is truly insane that this is his resting face during interviews. How is this anyone’s resting face? There’s resting bitch face and then there’s whatever the fuck this is.”

I’m yet to see Labour welcome today’s world-first agreement with Singapore protecting fuel and food supply for Kiwis. And I’m yet to see them welcome New Zealand’s increased fuel stock holdings from today’s fuel update. Or do they only comment when fuel stocks naturally fluctuate down slightly? A third of our fuel is refined in Singapore, and this deal locks that supply in. Sounds like Labour would rather bark at passing cars than back action that protects Kiwi families.
