List of things you aren't considered responsible enough to do at 16 in the UK. Hold a passport Hold a full driving licence Buy alcohol Buy cigarettes Get married Be tried in adult court Serve in an active war zone Be interviewed as a suspect by police Get a credit card Watch an adult rated movie Buy a knife Serve as a juror Get a tattoo Buy fireworks Buy a lottery ticket. So using the same reason & logic, all these things now need amending or else allowing 16 year olds to vote doesn't make any logical sense & would seem to be entirely & shamefully politically motivated & nothing else.
