#ScienceSaturday ❓ Why do T cells sometimes fail to fight cancer? ➡️ A new study in Nature shows that when T cells are exposed to cancer or long-term infections, they can enter a state called exhaustion, where they lose their ability to eliminate harmful cells. ➡️ The researchers found that exhausted T cells develop a special type of stress response. Instead of reducing protein production, these cells increase it, leading to protein buildup and overworked “chaperone” proteins. Un día como hoy Velasco estableció su dictadura. Acaso la más nefasta de nuestra historia republicana. Según el historiador Alfonso Quiroz, fue el Gob. más corrupto. Velasco dividió a los peruanos, suprimió todas las libertades, estableció un modelo económico estatista que destruyó nuestra economía, asaltó los medios de comunicación, deportó a sus adversarios e impulsó una reforma agraria confiscatoria como mecanismo de control político del campesinado. Engañó a los campesinos: nunca los hizo propietarios. Los sátrapas Velasco y Morales Bermúdez, dejaron como pesada herencia el terrorismo. Sendero Luminoso y el MRTA, se organizaron en sus narices. ¡Dictaduras nunca más!
