@thsottiaux With multiple Git repos in one folder, Codex only tracks the root repo. Nested changes don’t appear, and the branch indicator shows the root branch. Could each thread select its Git repo while retaining the root AGENTS.md, skills, policies, hooks, and Codex config?

your code, docs, and reference files don’t have to live in the same folder anymore. one codex project can now work across multiple local folders. codex reads and writes across them while your primary folder stays the git root. x.com/OpenAIDevs/sta…

Keep work across multiple folders in one Codex project. Local projects can now include related code, docs, and reference files from multiple folders. Codex can read and write across them while one primary folder remains the Git root.

Having started a company <2 months ago I've been asking myself how much faster it actually is building with LLMs. Using stats from Supabase, Tailscale, and PostHog in '21 as our comp, we're (conservatively) around 30x more productive per engineer. What a time to be alive.

@andrewgordonmac You also ticked off a lot of customers by only honoring vouchers if they were booked on a person’s Personal profile as opposed to Business, which makes no sense. Who cares? Lots of vendors provided vouchers to/from games and they were rarely honored.

Congratulations to Spain! We're proud to have played a small part in helping millions of fans get into the soccer spirit this summer. It was an incredible tournament. We crunched the numbers, and here are a few of my favorite stats showing how Uber showed up...

Linear Diffs is easily one of the most beloved features we've shipped recently. But we aren't stopping at just streamlining the review itself. Now, Linear Agent is baked right in. Spot a bug during your review? Just tell Linear Agent to fix it and you're done.
Linear@linear

Walk through a large PR in the order the code actually flows. Spot a bug, ask Linear Agent to fix it, and watch the diff update live. Code review without the tab-switching or file-sifting.

please let me break down the vibe coding fallacy from a Shopify app perspective. and how this has played out with home built tools well before AI was even a thing. Disclaimer: SaaS guy defending SaaS Instead of paying $15/pm for a Shopify app - you vibe your own. It works! One shotted this sucker right away - took 2 mins. RIP SaaS! Fast forward 4 months... Shopify deprecates the API version you were using (They change version every quarter) Someone slacks you: "Hey, the [xyz] app isn't working, can you take a look?" "Sure, should only take 2 seconds..." 4 hours debugging a new issue that only happened because of the changes to the API version, and the docs weren't fresh enough that the LLM one-shotted it. Fast forward another 3 months to BFCM... Slack blows up: "Dude, no one is getting emails from the [xyz] app, can you check it out - its urgent!" Fuck - the LLM didn't consider volume spikes, we've hit rate limits on our email sending, the Shopify rate limit is getting hammered and we're left holding the bag with no one to help on the busiest day of the year. Now, you've lost time, money and sales. All of which is worth far more than $15/pm. I have been down this road before myself. For example: Before AI - I probably spent over 100 hours trying to build in-house reporting tool because one didn't exist. Then Mantle came along - i paid them per month and never thought about it again. Are there shitty apps in the ecosystem? yes. Are there apps that are VC backed and inflate the cost of the tool? yes. From my almost 20 years in this game: As a SaaS company, you do not get paid for the actual code. You get paid for the support, maintenance and someone who is constantly shipping updates.

@thsottiaux It'd be great to be able to pick modes (Auto, Full, Default, etc.) on a per-chat basis. Unfortunately the setting seems to apply to all chats?

Tons of goodies for use of codex for day to day work. If you are on a business plan you can now host and share websites, we launched vastly improved plugins and skills for broad roles and you can give feedback to your agent through visual annotations in docs, slides, sheets and more.

Thing that should exist but (i think?) doesn't: - Shared company brain that you connect to any agent - Nice UI for viewing pages - Permissions / suggest changes mode - Versioning - Works with company SSO / RBAC - Also bundles connectors to tools Is this a thing?

@trq212 We want to have a Slack bot that spins up a cloud Claude session connected to a knowledge base repo so we can ask questions about that knowledge base -- is this doable with Claude Code and Slack integration? It seems more focused on coding/PRs?
