@garrytan And file a complaint with a rep. most would be horrified how bad the customer experience got. Seen it before. “How is it possible our experience is so bad?” “well because nobody designs it, it just happened”.

Every UX designer walking into a cockpit: Clutter! Every pilot walking into a cockpit: Clarity! The word "clutter" is terribly overused in the UX/design field, commonly serving as a superficial critique of decoration while often ignoring the design's true context.

NEW: Elon Musk says the maximum amount of people who can retire from the federal government in a month is 10,000 because the paperwork is done manually at an old limestone mine in Pennsylvania. The mine in question is Iron Mountain. "The speed at which the mine shaft elevator can move determines how many people can retire from the federal government." Iron Mountain is a 330,000-square-foot data center more than 200 feet deep. It uses a 35-acre underground reservoir to create a geothermal cooling system. A report from 2021 reveals how the government tried (and failed) to digitize the process for decades. $106 million later, and failing to do so, the government decided to keep the old process. "$106 million later, the OPM facility resumed functioning with the processes established back in 1977," STWserve dot com reported.

@0x_ale It’s promising, but aligning all countries will take so much time. We’re talking law reforms for most countries. Won’t that take like 10 years?

Game-changer alert: EU is about to pull a Delaware move across the entire continent. I've spent years wrestling with different regulations in each EU country. T The new "28th regime" will be one unified system. Same rules for corporate law, taxes, and labor - everywhere. No more playing legal hopscotch across borders. Think about it: - Single EU-wide framework - Simplified regulations (including employment Law) - Bypasses local red tape - No more conflicting interpretations This hits different because $500K seed round in the US will be like $1.5M in Southern Europe. The burn rate math finally makes sense. Been talking to other founders and operators and we're all thinking the same thing - this could be the regulatory reset button Europe's startup scene desperately needed. What do you think? Would unified EU startup rules make you more likely to launch there? Ready for 2025/26 when this drops. Reply if you want the full breakdown on what this means for founders.

It is time to restart Europe’s innovation engine. We have the Compass. We have the political will. Now, what matters is speed and unity. Because the world is not waiting for us ↓ twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…

“Is the US losing the war in AI??” I don’t think so. DeepSeek had a few big breakthroughs, we have had hundreds of small breakthroughs. If we adopt DeepSeek’s architecture, our models will be better. Because we have more compute and more data.

@stephsmithio They are still people with civic liberties and rights. You can’t just force someone to get help. Plus it doesn’t work, addiction usually has a root cause and any pressure just creates opposition in a person. If you jail them, they’ll just rot in jail.

Something I've never fully understood about the far-left take on homelessness... Leaving someone drug-addicted on the street is not compassionate. To find a compassionate solution, consider what you'd do with family. Past a certain point, you'd force them to get help – esp if they were asking for resources or hurting others. No action may actually be the least compassionate option! What am I missing?

Here's my conversation with Volodymyr Zelenskyy (@ZelenskyyUa). It was an intense and heartfelt conversation, my goal for which was to do my small part in pushing for peace. We spoke in a mix of 3 languages: English, Ukrainian, and Russian. It's fully dubbed in each of those 3 languages. The original (mixed-language version) is available as well. So the options are: - Audio: English, Ukrainian, Russian, Original (Mixed) - Subtitles: English, Ukrainian, Russian It's available here on X and everywhere else.
