We're predicting cancer outcomes from digital photos. Unheard of.
@MassGenBrigham researchers revealed an AI that can estimate not only a person's biological age, but also improving cancer survival outcomes predictions by just analyzing a facial photograph. The battle against cancer continues.

There’s something inherently satisfying about watching old clips of doubters who have been proven wrong.

Healthcare feels like a top 3 place to build over the next decade.
-- $4.5T US spend//20% of GDP --> huge market
-- up to 25% of the world's data is healthcare related --> huge data set --> big surface area to build
-- not available on the public internet --> not in foundational models --> less big co competition
-- multimodal --> AI particularly good at this
-- majority of data not used clinically --> latent value that can be captured by new companies
Often the challenge in healthcare is getting distribution.
Distribution --> data --> value/moat

A key step in this is to digitize the body with accurate 3D models of your body captured on your phone. By correlating topography to clinical metrics we can start to diagnose and monitor hundreds of conditions. We are already doing this @momentum_health for spine disease.
Evis Drenova@evisdrenova
Someone needs to build the OpenAI of biotech. Raise $1B to digitize the body. - Digitize biomarkers - Build a blood compiler that converts a blood drop into code - Digitize processes in the human body - Write software to check blood code against biomarkers

@Suhail How well does it work for designing graphics for slides?

Dear startups, you don't have to make your logo in Figma without a designer at 11pm like I did. It will be better than you drawing some circles and rectangles.
This is not merely a template. You can customize it FROM a template to get something truly 1:1 unique.

Today, @cafreeland is introducing a motion to increase the capital gains inclusion rate in Canada. This isn't a wealth tax — it's a tax on innovation and risk-taking.
Investing in new products or ideas is inherently risky. Entrepreneurs need incentives, not penalties, to drive 🇨🇦 forward.
This policy will disincentivize risk-taking and tax Canadian ambition at a time when we need more entrepreneurs, not fewer.
The OECD predicts Canada will be the worst-performing advanced economy for per-person GDP growth until 2060. Killing our tax competitiveness is not the way to fix this.
We need to change course, and fast.

We need to be doing everything we can to turn Canada into the best place for entrepreneurs to build 🇨🇦
What's proposed in the federal budget will do the complete opposite. Innovators and entrepreneurs will suffer and their success will be penalized -- this is not a wealth tax, it's a tax on innovation and risk taking.
Our policy failures are America's gains. At a time when our country is facing critically low productivity and business investment our political leaders are failing our country's entrepreneurs.
Please start listening to the people in the arena.
