@RivianTrackr BMW do OTAs and have decent software. Rivian may be better but BMW is also better in other areas (range, charging, build quality).

Rivian's software is just on another level compared to BMW, and honestly that alone is going to push a lot of people toward the R2.

@RivianTrackr I have considered, but my ideal IX3 spec puts me over $70k. I can get my ideal R2 spec under $70k. Charging speed & +400 range aren’t priorities for me compared to others. At the end of the day I feel Rivian’s software & future upgrade experiences will be better longterm.

@RivianTrackr Yes, similarly sized two row crossovers within $5k of each other. Price gap shrinks since BMW offers free interior color changes and exterior paint is $650. Rivian will likely be thousands more.
