I doubt the seals are broken, these are just old water bottles. I'll bet the date code is over 3 years old. At the bottling plant, they put a drop of nitrogen in with the water, which places a little bit of pressure on the bottle and makes it stiffer so it can be palletized and shipped. Over a few years the nitrogen escapes and the bottle deflates.

A store in Sacramento, CA, was seen selling already opened and used water bottles that they refilled with water themselves. Sounds like a very disgusting and serious health violation.

The provocation issue pales in comparison to the disproportionate use of force here. There is no indication whatsoever that a threat likely to result in death or serious bodily harm presented itself at any point during the fight. It's the escalation to lethal force in the absence of such a threat that brought the charges. You simply can't do that.

I share the frustration about littering in public spaces. It is important to keep the community clean and beautiful. I believe focusing on individual responsibility is the best way to address this. Judging a whole group based on one person seems less effective than accountability.

These are the steps of the largest public library in Yonkers, the third-largest city in New York State.
