Interesting details on Iran tracking the phones of American military personnel in the Gulf: "Officials in the Gulf suspected Iran or its allies of exploiting roaming agreements with local phone providers to try to locate US personnel, one person familiar with the matter said. Separately, a second person said they believed actors linked to Iran had abused commercially available advertising databases to track phones in Iraqi Kurdistan." ft.com/content/44351c…

In this next episode, @magattew sits down with Prof. @ProfBShaffer, a faculty member at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and contributor to the @MLInstitute , to explore one of the most misunderstood issues shaping our world: energy. Why are millions of Africans still being denied access to reliable electricity? How have climate policies made the world less energy secure? And what happens when unelected international organizations begin influencing global markets and taxation? Professor Shaffer draws on decades of experience in energy geopolitics to explain why energy is at the center of prosperity, national security, and human flourishing. Together, she and Magatte examine the unintended consequences of renewable energy policies, the importance of expanding Africa's natural gas resources, and the growing role of international institutions in shaping economic policy. The International Criminal Court seeks to become the unaccountable arbiter of a new global law — empowered to prosecute and arrest our citizens at will and existentially threaten American sovereignty. We will teach the ICC the full meaning of American resolve.

Got a statement with some new numbers from @Energy Department “Thanks to the U.S. military and President Trump, oil is moving through the Strait of Hormuz. Yesterday, 8.5 million barrels of oil transited through the Strait, consistent with the recent average. This puts the Arabian Gulf Region flows at about 15 million barrels per day. The U.S. military will ensure oil flows continue, with or without the Iranians, to keep markets well supplied.” - DOE Spokesperson to CNBC

עידן+בנימין&utm_term=20260710-07:59&fromLogin=success
