@RACHELMILWARD2 I’m back 3 days a week. I think schools are allowed to take up to 3 months to respond to a flex working request. When do you return?

If you could list 20 things that ALL Year 7s would know off the top of their head upon entering your first geography lesson, what would you list? Yes, they're likely to be simple facts rather than elements of geographical understanding- that's the point of the thought process!

@MrsLauraLewis @mtptproject I am 35 weeks and finish on Friday. I wouldn’t be able to go back after Easter - I feel huge already! I think I worked to around 38 weeks with my 1st daughter. Just do whatever feels right for you; I think you can change your mind if you want to go earlier than you plan. G’ Luck!

Does anyone have any tips / suggestions for managing workload? I'm a 2nd yr ECT & this is my timetable. I teach 17 classes & I'm struggling to find time to mark 353 books every 3 weeks on top of making lessons/planning, marking assessments, reports etc.

@GeogChat Our students struggle to apply their case study knowledge in the extended answers and reach the higher levels. I think revision is ok, it’s more application @GeogChat

@Headteacherchat These are some of the things we do to try and support staff well-being. Lots of them are centred around time and trust, but there are biscuits in there too!

Can anyone help anon? Can you ask have any schools got a successful approach to staff wellbeing that does not include tokenistic elements such wellbeing days, biscuits but things that really make a difference to staff

@missmarshECT There are so many careers that you can do. Lots of employers recognise the skills and qualities a teacher has. I left teaching in August after 15 years. Feels so good not to have to walk into another classroom. Currently working in recruitment and work from home 3 days a week 👍
