@FoxNews It’s good to see that this passed. Especially great to see that my friend and congressman from several years back was willing to do what just makes common sense.

BREAKING: The House passed the SAVE America Act by a 218–213 vote. The bill would require voter ID in elections as early as this coming November. All Republicans present voted for it; one Democrat, Henry Cuellar, voted for it.

A few thoughts… * I’m encouraged that we’ve shown we can beat pretty good teams in completely different ways. Notre Dame was a shootout with very little defense. And today was an absolutely defensive slugfest where our D completely rose to the occasion and held tough in the tightest of circumstances. * Kudos to Moss for balling out and giving us exactly what we needed against a good run D. 21 carries for 139 yards and a TD. Grown man! * Penalties killed Marcel’s ability to get into a rhythm. He wasn’t A+ level but not bad at all. The pick was too high but still needed to be caught. More than anything…just a bad play call in that spot when we were dominating them on the ground. Reed does need to get more air on that deep ball…been an issue throughout the year. * Concepcion took his turn on center stage and was elite…7 for 113…what a beast. * O-line is way too experienced to be this sloppy with the penalties. They ruined any hope of good offense today. This is a trend now and they have got to get it figured out. * Defense was spectacular from start to finish. Tough as nails after sudden change situations put them in difficult spots. Attacked Arnold all game. Held up great vs. the run. Had an awesome plan for Coleman. Just an awesome game. * Defense by the numbers… - 177 yards allowed. - Gave up just 72 yards in 2nd half. - Gave up just 1 yard in the 4th quarter. * I thought this was the best game of York’s career. He was elite vs. run and pass and timed up his blitzes perfectly. He lived in Arnold’s hip pocket all game and had a huge sack late. * I’m not so sure Ricks isn’t our best player on D. What a dramatic improvement. * Can’t wait to get Scooby back but we need to find a good role for Sanford. Kid is a player. * Much better day for The Blanket. Needed that! There’s more but that is what jumps out tonight. Clean up the offensive penalties and the offense probably gets to 30. That’s the biggest issue. Great win. Survive and keep playing! Gig ‘em! 👍🏼

@LDAMAX1 Lloyd, this is one of those posts that is hard for me to just “like” because I totally understand what you are working through. I realize I’m not the best cotton farmer, but for me it always seemed that cotton looked for a reason to not come up, or die if it did! Good luck

Planting conditions have been less than desirable this year, even with some measurable rain fall. Currently replanting cotton due to non emergents or a constant stand. Today, June 4th the morning low early this morning was 54, had to drag out the jacket. Getting very expensive.

@tamusystem @Glenn_Hegar IMO, AWESOME selection to be our next Chancellor. I’ve always appreciated leaders that are strong,honest, and levelheaded that lead by example. Comptroller/Senator Heger is the epitome of that type of leadership!

@LDAMAX1 Totally agree Lloyd. Even though we don’t get winters like you guys, cows are calving right now and it’s in the mid thirties, raining, (which we need) with the wind blowing. Not fun. But it’s what we do! Take care.

Winter finally came to the south plains of Texas. The animals had plenty of energy for a cold morning. Feeding and braking ice for the critter’s is a little less fun as it was thirty/forty years ago,

Minutes ago I voted in favor of a good, clean bill to get us into Donald Trump’s presidency. We worked hard to ensure conservative wins, especially supporting our Texas farmers and ranchers. This bill wasn’t everything I wanted but it was enough to buy us time until the calvary comes in January.

Laramie and I have a Golden Rule. We don’t go to DC w/o stopping by Congressman Sessions office. Always appreciate his support and friendship!

Been inDC all week for AFBF meetings. Worked some visits in as well. Here’s the team with Congressman Ellzey. Great supporter of Ag, but most importantly, great person!

TFB is proud to be a supporter of Cong. Jackson. He does a great job on House Ag. Comm. Looking forward to his help getting a farm bill across the finish line!
