@KT_Carlisle Who says? This side of the pond, 2 spaces is what is taught. In a word processing exam, you will lose one mark for using one. Lose three marks, and you fail the exam.

Were you taught to use double spaces after punctuation? I was never taught this, but I see other writers do this a lot. Editing pro tip: You only need one space after punctuation—not two. 😉
