Let's not sit here and act like 6 staffers betting a combined $1,100 is in anyway equivalent to a player betting tens of thousands, including on their own team. And let's not ignore the face two staffers were rightfully fired, and the 3 remaining did not bet on any Texas teams.

@JDTownsend80603 @Doc_Texas NCAA didn’t open Pandora’s box with NIL. The state of California did by allowing their schools to get paid. NIL and betting on your own team are very different things. Just because you get NIL doesn’t mean you can bet on your own team/sport.

It is not Texas Tech's fault that Brendan Sorsby placed bets while at Indiana and Cincinnati It is not Texas Tech's fault that the NCAA couldn't win what should have been a layup of an injunction hearing. Texas Tech is not going to be bullied by the rest of the league into not playing a kid who was granted eligibility by a district judge.

If your Head Coach leaves for another school, you get a free transfer. 2 transfer windows: -1 after spring ball -1 after the National Championship Game If you decide to transfer a 2nd time and your coach has not left, you have to sit out a year. Eliminates student athletes playing for 4 schools in 5 years, allows them to have a Home when they graduate and connect with their community and the fans in a deeper way. Allows proper development for Student athletes and accountability for Coaches to stay honest in their recruitment and plan for development for their players. Allows flexibility for student athletes to enter the transfer portal after the spring or after the season to make the best decision for themselves without feeling trapped. @billyliucci @TexasBall66 People love, bringing up Kentucky and Mississippi State when it comes to Texas. Don’t forget Texas A&M needed a miracle to beat USC. Georgia needed a miracle for Florida. Indiana struggled with Old Dominion and a horrible Penn State team. Miami struggled most of the year.
